Ho Hum, some schedulers

Well, I get an urgent email for 5 phone jobs in CO, I'm in CA. I write back and say for 12.00, even if get all five jobs,
the airfare wouldn't make this feasible. I get a return email saying, "Would you be interested in doing one in Studio City".
I write back saying yes, I'll do that....well ho hum, this was for yesterday, never heard back.....way to build a relationship,
is there a class for Schedulers on courtesy (tough in cheek).

Live consciously....

I've always found it somewhat ironic that some of the very businesses that were created to evaluate courtesy and helpfulness can be woefully lacking in those same qualities when dealing with its shoppers.

"Between stimulus and response, there is a space.
In that space is our power to choose our response.
In our response lies our growth and our freedom."
~Viktor Frankl
Those 9-1-1 emails that I respond to with the willingness to alter my plans on a dime and yet receive no response are as annoying as a hangnail. Crying wolf is never a good thing. Eventually, a wolf will be at the door and I will be available but will hit delete on my computer and them go freshen up my beverage while I am watching TV. So, it was a mass email.....then make a generic response of, "Thank you for offering to help. The assignment was just filled. Have a great day!" Then, copy and paste it in a reply to anyone who was willing to stick their neck out to help.
