Scheduling more than a month in advance...can it be done?

I have a small weekend trip out of town coming up mid-September. Have any of you had luck emailing schedulers about hotel or dining visits this far in the future or would I be wasting my time? I'm just so excited I can't help but want to plan everything out RIGHT NOW! smiling smiley

I know of one msc that schedules out that far -- I just finished a shop Thursday that was scheduled July 3. I don't know if they do hotels or not.

I don't know if I can mention the msc or not here. I think so but will wait until some of the "oldtimers" chime in with their blessing . . , or not.
The worst they can say is "No". I actually had my Florida shops for this week scheduled almost a month in advance.

I'm not an "oldtimer" but, according to the forum rules, you can mention either MSC or client, but not both. So you can say that, "XYZ MSC schedules hotel & dinner shops over a month in advance," or, " Holiday Inn shops are scheduled a month in advance," but you can't say, "XYZ MSC schedules Holiday Inn's a month in advance."

Thanks, folks! I've got a few schedulers working with me and some that just sent me dates to look for September shops.
I agree with the 'old timers'. Ask and you might receive. Two weeks ago I flew to Alberta for a family visit for a few days. I did a number of shops while I was there and paid for my trip. Also keep an eye peeled closer to your departure for other shops in the area you are visiting. I always send schedulers and email letting them know that I would be in that area and that my request out of my area was not an error. Have a great vacation!
