Video Pen?

Does anyone use hidden video equipment? if so, what do you use? Have you ever used the video pen than I've seen on Moolala? I don't want to buy some garbage. Thanks!

We have answered your questions about video technical standards just within the last week. The answer concerning a particulr model of camera can be found by comparing its tech specs to those approved by the video MSCs and published on the VSN forum.

In addition, you would not be able to use the pen to record a 90 minute shops, for instance, were you may not be able to carry it around in a manner that would keep the target in the picture frame 80-90 percent of the time. I know oNO video MSC that has encouraged the use of pen cams for any sort of shop.

I have not asked about video technical standards before, so I have no idea what you are referring to. I'm still wondering if anyone has used a video pen, and, if so, what brand do you like?

Walesmaven, you say in your sig line "have video cam; will travel." What kind do you use? Useful information would be appreciated rather than the "We've already told you this" tone you use. Thanks!

PV-500. Please search "video" for "all dates" for many threads addressing these issues.

My apologies. I mistook you for someone else who asked about video pens within the past week. You search will turn up that thread as well as many others dealing with acceptable video rigs.

I routinely use Zpen as an additional tool when shopping. It records audio, video, pictures. It is a great tool for recording conversations and to sneek a few photos. I hold it in my hand to take written notes and photos to refresh my memory for details in my reports.

The Zpen will record 70 - 90 minutes of audio and video in High definition. The pictures are of the absolute highest quality; but, there are no options for settings.

The Zpen has a 16 gig memory chip and you can change it out. It also has time and date stamp on pictures and video.

But does it meet the standards for video recorded shops stated in the VSN guideline that reflect the client standards for video? And, can you keep the target framed from torso to top of head for 80-90 percent of the interaction (also without the picture tilting excessively)?

There is a big difference between being able to capture video as an aid to your memory and producing an acceptable video shop.

Also, please see the discission of today, on this forum, concerning using the audio recording feature of your pen, or anything, in a "two party" state.
