Italiano: In my guidelines it said, you may be asked for a credit check. You must allow one. (I had already accepted the assignment and did not want to cancel).
I hoped he would not ask for one. He did.
I was in a quandry there, 'If I say no, then I am not following the shop.' I did say, "Are you sure? I really don't feel comfortable." He also wanted my social security number to run the report.. I was getting light headed and wanted to bolt to the front door.
But he kept pushing it, as if my credit would be the determination, as to whether I was a "worthy customer." Because I liked this company ("liked": past tense)...I agreed to it and got TWO dings/reminders that I had a credit hit.... It turned my stomach. NEVER again.
