Paypal fees

I havent worked for paypal in almost two years, but does anyone know a fee concerning e checks. I have been doing shops for a company for about two months, its a 13.00 shop I must purchase 3.00 non reimbused, then my payment gets sent through paypal via e check and then I am charged a 1.25 fee I even have an account with them. So the 13.00 shop ends up becoming 11.75. I am beginning to think this is not worth the trouble.

My guess is that the MSP is not sending the payments as a bulk transfer. Can you get the MSP to send you a paper check and/or do direct deposit? That is an excessive fee.
I don't have a fee with PayPal at all. Is this for new accounts? I have a maximum of $500 that I can transfer per month, and I never have that much. The account is used exclusively for mystery shopping payments to me, which I transfer to my bank account. I have made a payment, which I think was for a merchandising company's certification, now that I think of it. Still, I have not had to pay anything to PayPal.
Sandra Sue, most companies do a bulk payment to Paypal and there is no fee. A couple of cheapskate-to-start-with companies indicate there is a fee for Paypal and so shoppers receive less. The one I am familiar with does direct deposits with no deduction, so I just have payments handled that way. I truly prefer to have payments by direct deposit or Paypal because at least that way I know the check won't bounce.
I thought if your pay was 10 dollars paypal took .30 cents, I am expecting a paypal payment soon. How long do they take to come in anyway?
I am lost here.
With the basic Paypal account and with most companies, if your amount due is $10 you will see $10. Most companies tell you how long it will take for payment--usually in the range of 4-6 weeks. From the time they 'authorize payment' or mark the job 'paid' it is usually 3-5 business days before you have a check, have a paypal deposit or have a direct deposit. If you are paid by paypal you will get an email announcing payment and the money will be in your paypal account. You can start the withdrawal/transfer process immediately to your bank account, and that usually takes 3-4 business days. I presume that those who have paypal debit cards can use the funds immediately.

Paypal is a fast service. From time to time I do online surveys with a company from whom I usually have payment via Paypal the next business day. Therefore I have to assume that longer delays have to do with the bookkeeping at the companies we work with.
Corporate Research charges a fee for using paypal. It should be stated in your agreement. Most companies do not charge though. So I think it is a wasted, because their pay is so low to begin with, then a fee on top of that, but if you do direct deposit to your personal checking there is no charge.
