Traveling with a Dog and Cat/Hotel Shops

Hello, again,

I am about to relocate to Orlando permenantly. I'm going at the last minute-ish (leaving the 4th). I found a couple hotels that have shops around that time. When is reimbursement for shops? If the hotel allows pets, will the MSC be okay with me bringing them along? My dog and cat are very well-behaved, not noisey, not messy critters.

Glad you found one you like....

All of the Kimpton Hotels are pet friendly and you can bring an animal on the shop (if pre-approved by the scheduler) but I haven't seen many posted lately...

I just want to say lucky you. My daughter lives in Orlando and works at Disney and we have a condo in Windermere. Before we closed on it she stayed a month in one of the Extended Stay hotels there. I want to end up there permanently too!

I always thought Super 8's were pet-friendly, too. At least all the ones around here are/were. But then, I haven't traveled were it required staying in a hotel, by myself or with a pet, for about 10 years!

You can google pet friendly hotels/motels and you will get a list of them...also put in the general location you are looking for. ESA shops do reimburse the dog fee. Those are the only dog ones I have done but hope to find more shops including dogs so I don't have to add the cost of a dog sitter to my out of pocket. I am not sure about cats. I have done quite a few ESA shops and have never seen a cat around the hallways. They might have all gotten scared off by dogs like mine. lol

oooh, Kimpton gets shopped!!??? Going to have to sign up for more companies so I can find them- I looooved the one Kimpton hotel i stayed in in Chicago!

I live in Orlando too!! it's an amazing place to live and great place to do MS. I've had a lot of luck with diffrerent companies. How do you like Orlando so far Theresa?

I won't be down there till the 3rd, I have lived there in 2006 and loved it. Wonder how much changed since then lol
