favorite old shops that disappear-- has anyone spotted them elsewhere?

Not asking for any MSC names. Just wondering if a few beloved old shops that seem to have disappeared changed companies so I can start seeking them out.

So, with that preface, I really miss:

Le Pain Quitidion. It was reimbursement only, the service often sucked but the food was good and pricey enough that I won't pay for it myself.

Swarorski. So pretty and fun to pretend I was buying something for myself. A bit of pain because it required a purchase and the return window was narrow.

Dean and Deluca. Overpriced gourmet items. I haven't seen them on the boards in ages. Happened to be browsing the other day and every employee got every element right. Alas, they weren't being shopped by me!

I'm sure there are others but those are the ones that have been bothering me of late.

Friday's is still shopped regionally

Several Friday's shops around here, but I have nobody to take who meets the age requirement for the alcohol age-check requirement.... sad smiley

Hey Jennniferml, Swarovski is closing some of their stand alone stores. They are going to open "concept" stores according to their web site. They have even closed their E-Store. The boutique stores inside the dept. stores are still open though. Maybe the economy has hit them also. What a shame. But you have to check out the Sabu the Tiger by Swarovski. Wow.
Aveda- Look in the merchandising forum- under the thread Aveda Institutes, about half way down the page. I don't know why it is listed under there, but it is a mystery shop.

I just did a Red Robin a few weeks back. That meal was nasty and they wont get me to sign up to shop them again. My bun was as hard as rock. The only thing any good was the root beer float and how can you screw up adding some ice cream to Barqs rootbeer. 5 Guys is 5 times better then the Red Robin.
Both Aveda retail and Aveda Institute are shopped monthly, by 2 different msc.

In the Tampa Bay area, TGIFriday's shops are always being offered along with Buffalo Wild Wings. Like Birdy, I don't have anyone to take for the age compliance shops.
I shopped the Aveda retail every other month for a few years. I haven't seen them lately. I wonder if I was spotted or they are just not shopped in my area anymore. I have ran out of my favorite shampoo and I am too cheap to buy it without reimbursement!!

WAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!! (Mystery shopper temper tantrum!)
We still have Friday's. One company lost a local pizza chain that I loved and it showed up with another MSC for less money, so we know what happened there. Another company lost a big client, AMC theaters, and I haven't seen it elsewhere yet.
Yeah, what happend to Le Pain?

I occasionally manage to snag an Aveda, but it has to be my lucky day. I think Dean and Deluca is still shopped but those get snapped up so fast nowadays, I never see them on the board. Just ghost notifications from Jobslinger.
Aveda is still around-- both types for 2 different companies.

I haven't seen Red Robin in ages.

Our local Swaroski did switch to the concept store. I think I shopped them once post renovations but it has been a year.

I thought about LPQ because it keeps getting trashed on a local message for its terrible service.

Bare used to have excellent fine dining shops but they seem to mostly have bar shops now and the timing just doesn't work for me.
I miss Buffalo Wild Wings and would lOVE to do Red Robin! I am signed up with 54 companies, and the one that did BWW no longer has it, obviously. Sigh

I see a ton of BWW in my area for a company! I'm vegetarian, so Wings aren't on my list of to dos! I love Subway (veggie subs!), and the company that was doing subway near me only does one subway location now! I guess I have to keep looking for who took over the other ones!
Jaosmom, the MSC that does BWW (at least in my area) is often complained about due to the huge amount of emails they send out. I think I mentioned this issue once. So keep your eye out.
Red Robin is still shopped in the NYC tri state area by the same msc that does Five Guys...

BWW is being shopped here.
BWW is shopped a lot around here, and if you wait till the end of the month, they sometimes drop the age & gender requirements and put a nice bonus on.

I just saw Noodles for the first time yesterday. I might give them a try if I'm in the area. It was only dining for one.

Saw one recently. Pay $0, reimbursement up to $25 but they asked to spend AT LEAST $25 and no returns allowed. Pay my own money to do mystery shopping? Doesn't sound like fun to me.
A gas station shop I liked (because they exist in my area) went to a different MSC. Less pay, and now I have to take pictures. I hate taking pictures. sad smiley
I remember when Red Robin was done by EDITED FOR ICA VIOLATION but I don't know who they are with no. Would love to know!
BWW is shopped here, did one last night.

I had dinner at Red Robin once and it was so bad that I skip their shops.

Yeah, that sounds lame. Maybe nice for the person who wants a new salon shampoo or haircut I guess?
