Multiple Listings for Grocery Store

I am new to mystery shopping and received a notice this morning of updated jobs. There are about 10 listings for the grocery store that I love. Do I request all of them and see if I get any of them? Do I only request one? Not sure how that works. I would like to request each for a different day so that maybe I would be chosen for one.

Request them all, but be willing to actually do them all if by some fluke you get a bunch. I applied for three with a new company this round and got them all, so I'll be spending a lot of time at the grocery store this week.
Request the ones you want to do the most. If you don't care then request them all.

I've requested ones just because they were in the city then got assigned the ones that were super far (not the ones I really wanted) and regretted it.

The MSP may have limits, that aren't always known. One of the MSPs I shop grocery stores with has limits that can fluctuate month to month, according to the wishes of the client. One month, I can request 30, next month 12, next 20 - just rarely know. Their site automatically assigns the shops overnight. That's a lot better than being left hanging for several days, but not as good as being able to instantly self-assign, as is the case with another MSP who has grocery stores.

I agree that you should be prepared to complete all shops you request. With luck, you'll get em allsmiling smiley

Since you're new to mystery shopping and still have dollar signs in your eyeballs, I would strongly urge you to just sign up for a couple of them to see how they go. You're building your reputation and it's important you do what you commit to do. What if you do the first one and it's a lot more complex than you thought it would be? I vote for starting out cautiously because there's always next month, etc.

Been there, done that...more than once!

I intend to live forever. So far, so good.

I make it a point when trying out new jobs, to only take a few (remember, they will come 'round next month too) that way, if I detest the shop, I only have to get through the ones I accepted. smiling smiley
Thanks for all the advice. This is my favorite grocery store and I usually visit at least twice a week. To get paid for it would be wonderful.
Unless you can view ALL the requirement and report before committing, I suggest taking only one or two to "get your feet wet." I did one for a chain in my area and found it way too time consuming to be worthwhile. The silly questions I had to ask of several department staffers seemed like a neon sign flashing, "I AM A MYSTERY SHOPPER." Could be embarrassing if you are a regular at a given store...
