What up with EPMS

I get emails from the schedulers saying there are shops available. Today I got one that said October shops were available, gave a list of cities and asked which cities I wanted to shop. I emailed the scheduler and told her a few cities I could shop. There are no new shops on the website and I haven't heard back from the scheduler. Seems as though these are new schedulers. There was a woman named Sherry who always replied and often called with shops. It looks like I won't be doing any apartment shops any time soon.

I have been getting those same e-mails and seeing nothing on the site. She provides absolutely no information other than the general cities. Sure I'm going to sign up for a bunch of shops not knowing a darn thing about them, like how much they are paying. Without knowing the name of the complex there is also no way for me to be sure I haven't shopped it recently. What a waste of everyone's time.

OMG! Did I really write this subject line??? I give myself a rating of 1! LOL

I just checked their site again and two shops have been added that weren't there before and both have been assigned but are available as a backup. I never received an email back from the scheduler about the cities I said I would be interested in.

I also would like the address of the place before I would agree to shop it. There are some places that it is so obvious that I wouldn't be a candidate to live there--such as low income housing in certain parts of town where I don't speak the language. I wouldn't feel comfortable even pretending I was interested in leasing at those communities.
Same thing happening to several shoppers. Weird email but no shops on the board to self assign. Its a shame.
I got an email today with links to shops and when I clicked on the link, I got a message that I wasn't eligible for the shops. One of the reasons given was that I had probably shopped my limit for certain management companies. When I go on the website, the same shops keep showing up and most of them are for backup shoppers or they're far away. Nothing new has been posted since last week. So I did a bunch of post office shops instead. They're easier and my daughter is thrilled to get all kinds of strange items as care packages.
Hello!! I wanted to respond to let you know a bit about our process on releasing shops. Most of our shops are available to be self-assigned but some cannot be for whatever parameters our client's request. Some shops also cannot be done until after a certain date. The Schedulers will reach out to get these shops assigned with a note that they may not be completed until after the 3rd, 5th or 7th of the month. Our Schedulers are all part-time employees and should be responding within 24-hours of receiving an email. If you are ever not getting a response in a timely manner, I would encourage you to reach out to me. I'm the Director of Scheduling and can answer any question you may have. Thank you!!
I find this happens with so many MSC's... they send an e-mail saying jobs are there and you're sitting at your computer right that very second yet when you log in, nothing.

Many people speak ill upon EPMS but they have always treated me well. When I get that email, I respond and they will either assign it or tell me that I may have done it or someone else got it first. There are always shops In my area.
vdickerson, my issue is not with the method it is with the lack of information. I addressed it with the scheduler and her next e-mail included specifics, but the one following that did not. Maybe I am in the minority and other shoppers don't mind and have the time to reply, ask for more details and then wait. Or maybe some will sign up for a shop not knowing where or when.

Thank you for posting. I just sent you a pm...

Thank you for you reply and offer of assistance, Vanessa. However, Shoppers are still experiencing difficulties on your site. The EPMS Scheduling Department needs to regroup and rethink. When Shoppers cannot self-assign, or have to request/email, then wait for a response. . . . . . . . .

Experienced Shoppers, as well as new Shoppers, have calendars, and plan accordingly. Generally speaking, Shoppers are not available at the drop of a hat.
I've been with EPMS for over a year, I too have received those emails & have replied to them. When I do reply, I am specific in stating what area I can shop and a general time frame. Nikki, Cejai have been very good at scheduling shops via email. If assigned a shop that I dont want, meet eligibility, I simpy cancel it. No harm done. Yes, I too think EPMS has to re-group. They do have several new schedulers that in my opinion have not been fully trained; they say they don't know, or let me check, even worse tell me the wrong thing. I have a feeling that they don't have sufficient schedulers to meet the large demand of shops. I live in Texas and the shop assignment have been plentiful. On average, I do $300 monthly.
I won't compain about 4 hours then! BUT I will now.....24 hours later and no reply to my reply.....

Hi nanabelle, If you replied to an email over the weekend sometimes it takes longer to get an EPMS team member response. Our schedulers get a lot of emails and they do their best to reply to shoppers but unfortunately (as true with other MSC's) there are a lot fewer schedulers than there are shoppers so once the shop at hand has been booked we often aren't able to send a personal reply to each inquiry.

If you are submitting questions about a shop assigned to you and you have not received a response within one business day (M-F) please contact our office. Also, the best way to make sure your message is received about a shop you are already working on is to use the envelope icon posted with the shop rather than sending an email.

My door is always open!
The best thing about EPMS is that they know how to do apartment shops. I signed up for an apartment shop with another MSC and the instructions were to leave a message and see if I get a call back. No surprise--no call back. And my emails don't get answered for way more than four hours. Too bad there's a limit on how many shops you can do for each management company through EPMS or I'd certainly be doing way more for them. They don't seem to have as many shops around here as in other states.
