Rats!!!!

I had three shops for the same client planned for Sunday the 2nd, paying a total of $45. Now I just got an email from the scheduler that the client only wants the shops done Monday the 3rd or Tuesday the 4th, neither of which works for me. Therefore I had to cancel all 3.

I'm sure this has happened to everyone, but I just wanted to vent.

All's well that ends well.

I got a follow-up email from the scheduler approving the shops for the 5-7, with the reports due the 8th, which puts me back in business.
I saw the subject line and thought for sure it was something unpleasant you observed on a shop.
I had a revealed shop of a gas station/tourist center one time and took a picture of a live mouse. The store manager was very embarrassed. I guess I should have told him that the mouse made the assignment interesting and I love critters. A long-time customer came up to me privately and said that there had been a lot of mice that year and that he had never seen this business in other than top shape. The manager had mentioned that the mice come in from the vacant lot next door. He needn't have sweated about it. I never sent the photo to the company. There wasn't any reason to. I guess I have to watch what I take pictures of.
I take pictures of everything. Lots of pictures. I got tired of explaining to the managers why I was taking a picture of "that" so I just take a bunch of randoms. It takes me a few minutes longer to sort them out when I'm done, but sometimes, I get home and see something in a pic that I missed the first time around.

Never seen a mouse in a pic, but I did send in some lovely pics of a spider, in a web.

One resaturant I did, I drew an "X" in the dust on a ledge and took a pic of it. 2 months later when I did it again, I drew a new "X" next to my old "X" and took another pic...

The third time I went there, the ledge had been cleaned.
