MSC's that aren't rescheduling because of weather

Mystery Shopper Magazine is going to be looking at companies that haven't been rescheduling because of the weather. If you've had that problem, please reply, VIA A PM ONLY. Your anonymity will be maintained, but I do need the MSC name & ideally a phone number.

MSM will be giving the companies an opportunity to respond, but we also feel that shoppers need to know if certain companies aren't responsive to the safety of shoppers.

Again, to maintain your anonymity, reply via PM only.

Great subject matter James. While many of us are just about dug out of this storm, it is only January so there is plenty of time for more snow before heading into thunderstorm/tornado season and then hurricane seasonconfused smiley

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Thanks much, Lisa. And a good point also, while we're mostly dealing with this recent weather, for this article, we're looking for any company's that have raised an issue with requests for rescheduling because of weather.

Lisa makes a good point, especially regarding tornadoes. Unless they get particularly destructive, most tornadoes are usually local events, yet they can cause massive power outages, utility damage, etc., that can affect hundreds of square miles.

Compared to the rest of the country, we're almost balmy. Makes me grateful Mother Nature onlyy gives us the rare flood or the even rarer earthquake!
I hope you will also acknowledge and recognize the companies who have gone out of their way to proactively encourage shoppers to put their safety first and reschedule when necessary. For example, Market Force has posted front-page messages to that effect multiple times during large-scale weather events. I appreciate seeing reassurance that a company cares about its shoppers and would love to see a balanced approach to your weather-related coverage.
Omgee, that could be something for another article and it's worth considering.

I agree companies should be commended. The only rub is in my experience most MSCs are excellent when it comes to weather related issues. In six years I have only had one scheduler who was a problem. She was not reflecting the attitude of the company. It was still frustrating to be dealing with someone sitting in a warm climate telling me the same roads being reported as having patches of black ice were clear as a bell.

I have to wonder if the shoppers who were complaining about MSC's [or schedulers] not wanting to reschedule were just blowing smoke. No one had PM'ed me regarding this, even with the promise of anonymity.

Scrapping that article as there is apparently no data to back it up.

I was not "blowing smoke" but I presume like others we prefer not to be quoted later of a specific company. I also prefer there not to be a middle man in an issue between me and a company. Thank you for your effort but I prefer to deal with them directly.
Except that anonymity was a big and emphasized part of the whole proposed article.

And, no where did anyone say they would be acting as any sort of a middle man between a shopper and an MSC. Partly because of the whole big anonymity thing, and partly because that clearly wasn't the intention here ~ writing an informative article was.

And, the subject only came up because of people discussing it on a public forum already.
