EPMS may lightening strike me dead!!

If I ever, ever accept another appartment shop from EPMS, then I hope lightening strikes me dead. I feel brain dead right now. I guess I forgot how horrible they were and accepted one for today. That was the most boring report I have ever done and I love writing. Same questions over and over!

They definately are boring but I just don't care. The anyone shops are easy enough and the money is close to the same as others I do. When slipped in with a route, I don't mind them nearly as much as the Gas Station audits.
EPMS reports drive me crazy. I enjoy apartment shops, but I have not done an apartment shop for them in months because of the long reports and repetitive questions. Also, I do not like having to ask the questions regarding the fair housing act - I think those questions are a dead giveaway that I am a shopper. When I asked the questions on the last shop, the agent's facial expression's changed. I had a feeling right then that she knew I was a shopper. She didn't ask if I was or anything like that, but I think she figured it out. When EPMS shortens their reports and removes the fair housing act questions, I will shop for them again. Until then, no thank you.

Never done a shop with them but now I see why I get daily emails about great and fun apartment shops.
Other MSC on apartment shops advise to not ask questions ELLIS requires to ask.
They say they are dead give aways your a shopper.

Strange thing is, many communities are shopped by multiple MSC with different instructions.
Would anyone mind sharing which MSC offers the most reasonable apartment shops with the most reasonable pay? I get so many EPMS emails per day that I've just started deleting them without looking at them since they're all the same.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
I'm not that crazy about EPMS either, but I look at their emails for non-targeted shops.

As far as the fair housing question goes, I ask it with some variation of: "I have a nephew [or 2] who comes and visits me for 4-6 weeks during the summer. Are there any families here with children 13-16 [or change the age range as I may contemplate].

That asks the question, but does it in a way that seems fairly natural, that a concerned relative would ask it.

James Bond,

Thanks for the tip! Do you have to ask both questions? If I am reading the guidelines correctly, one is supposed to ask something along the lines of "What kind of people live here?" AND a question about crime in the area. Will the question you mentioned in your post suffice? Just wondering.....

Jancyn offers apartment shops in my area with reasonable pay. The reports take about an hour to complete.

James Bond, this may be a silly question, but how does your question asked deal with the fair housing question? Thanks!
The Fair Housing Act in my State reads, in part, as follows:

"It is an unfair practice for any person to refuse to sell or rent after the making of a bona fide offer, or to refuse to negotiate for the sale or rental of, or otherwise make unavailable or deny a dwelling to any person, whether acting for himself, herself, or another, because of sex, marital status, race, creed, color, national origin, families with children status, the presence of any sensory, mental or physical disability, or the use of a trained dog guide or service animal by a disabled person."

I second RSGlenn's opinion that I really like working with Jancyn on apartment shops. They pay $30 in my area and their forms are half the trouble, or less. I wish they just had more shops around here.
Seeing that I'm a person of color, I always ask something like: "I'm lucky that my job has such diversity in the workforce and I do look for that where I'm living as well. Can you tell me if this is an ethnically diverse community?

Usually I get a more positive reaction from the agents who assure me that I would be very comfortable as they have a diverse population, etc.
