When I first started I was very concerned about grading, to the point that I read and read and re read my reports until I thought they were perfect. And I usually got positive feedback and a 10. Over time, I felt like I got better at writing the reports and I chilled out a little. Now I can do a quick edit and submit with few edits, and still receive 10s.
I received an 8 on a difficult MSC report and my blood didn't boil, I just thought - good, report accepted and I get paid. Their commentary was I could have added all of this complex data I received on the different plans that were offered, etc. etc. etc. Well I included the basics about the top 3 plans they asked about, and I wasn't going to spend an hour including all of the additional details for the dozen other plans that were mentioned.
I have heard it here often - do the very best job you can and don't sweat the grades. Read the comments objectively and don't take it personally.
