Cancelled assignments

Over the last two weeks I have had two different MSCs cancel an assignment after assigning it to me. Both were quick to reassure me that it would not affect my rating, they just did not need the shop done. It is bothersome though. On each of them I went and found a few less lucrative assignments to make the trip worthwhile. And on both I ended up with the junk shops (from different mscs), but the good one was cancelled. Of course I am going to do the ones I dislike, because I have promised to do them. Has anyone else run into this issue?

In my first three months, I've had two different companies cancel on me, in both cases without sending a 'sorry but we had to cancel your shop' e-mail. I issued them both a flake citation. winking smiley (I didn't tell them about it, but it's there.)

I e-mailed one company to ask them if I'd done anything wrong. They promptly answered, saying that the client had just changed its mind about something. I've done a couple of jobs for them, and more coming up.

I tried to get in contact with the other company, and they had no e-mail access unless I had an assigned shop, which, of course, I didn't. I don't check their job board any more.
I was in the middle of a shop and had this done. The location I was in did not have a good signal so I had no idea. When I drove away from the location (about fifteen minutes away) my phone beeped. I checked my message at the next stop light and it said "Shop Cancelled" the very next email said "Shop Accepted." The light turned green so I drove on. I stopped to grab lunch and further read the message. The shop I did was for Location A scenario 1. The shop that was "accepted" was for location A scenario 2. I was FURIOUS. I spoke with the scheduler on my way up to the location (someone flaked so I added it to my route for the day) so she knew I was headed there and verbally told me the scenario on the phone. I received a confirmation email moments later. Then she canceled the scenario we spoke about and confirmed just to give me a different scenario later. We sent several emails back and forth where she said I would not be paid because I completed the wrong scenario. This job, thanks to a flake, was supposed to pay $45.00 plus $7.00 reimbursement. Not to mention it was 18 miles out of my way but for the pay I took it! Long story short, I haven't picked up any assignments from this particular scheduler for a few weeks. I know I will break down but at this point I think it is best if we just give each other a little while to remove the personal feelings.
Twice recently I've had shops cancelled on me by Trendsource, ironic how they were in my list when I left the house to do the shops but had vanished by the time I got home and started to report them. I don't like game players.

Be careful, sometimes they are cutting a deal with a shopper who will do it for less. Maritz tried that on me once.

Glad it is not just me, also sad that it is not just me. It is disappointing to know that cancellations are not uncommon.
Gapbuster cancelled 2 shops in January. One with a high bonus because another shopper did the location 3 days before my schedule date. They did not even phone, just an e-mail.

I had the "Arches" cancel one a day before it was to be shopped. I was satisfied that the client did not want that location shopped.

I never though it was given to anyone else and I did believe the clientsmiling smiley
