I understand that my shopper account will be deactivated

That screening question always scares me off. I'm contemplating two shops today that both have that question in the screening. How serious is that?

Gas station. Mystery shop then reveal with photos..golden ticket maybe.
I've done plenty of audits with photos once or twice there's been an issue that was fixed quickly so it scares me that a small fixable mistake could result in my account being deactivated.
I have no concerns that I could do the assignment successfully but I'm concerned that the risk isn't worth it
Oh, I know that one!
I asked the help desk and was told that they're saying that because of shoppers using pictures from other shops and submitting them instead (cheating)

Feel better now? I was not comfortable with that statement, but all is good now. smiling smiley
Thanks Canuck! Much better. That will round out my day. I was hoping that it was something like that
Yeah. She said many cheat and use pictures from other gas station (same brand)...maybe because they forgot a picture or two. A huge no no and guaranteed to get you the boot.
so you're saying that as long as I do the shops honestly, to the best of my ability and on time that if I make a small honest mistake I probably won't get the boot?
Yep. I believe so. I was nervous when I first worked for them, but not now. Many dislike that MSC, but I really like them. They've been alright in my books.

Just don't crop any pictures. They love looking at the total scene in the pictures. You can resize them like I do. I resize them to half of what my camera takes. All is good that way. They can see what you do to the pictures. That's why many get the boot.

Have a fun shop!
There is a similar situation in a shop that a large company does for a Chinese fast food. A photo is required of the meal before eating. The guidelines warn direly of various forms of punishment if there is "something wrong with the picture." What they mean is not to falsify the picture or try to reuse a picture from a previous visit.
I have done several of their gas station audits. I have never had a problem with any of them. I onced missed a picture. I let them know and they extended the due date so I could go back and take it.
There are so many ways to cheat that I am not surprised at all to hear that msc are getting serious about catching people. Every time I do that Chinese restaurant shop I think...there are 20 receipts sitting right here on the counter abandoned by customers. Why couldn't I just pick one up, listen a few minutes for hello's and goodbye's and upsells and use my pic from last time which is the same meal I get every time. It sounds so easy but I am honest so I have never done it. Ditto with shops without pics. There are many times when it seemed easy to "cheat" and not do the required purchase due to a huge stash of abandoned receipts on the counter.

I hadn't thought of it before, but that's probably one reason why some clients are so strict about dictating exactly what you order.
I'd rather not get paid for a particular shop if I forget a picture... It has happened before, and it sucks when you were on a route 50 or 60 miles away and you can not go back just for the pic.

When this happened (twice already) I contacted the scheduler. In both cases they extended the deadline for me to go back on another route and take the pics.

Most schedulers can be flexible if their deadline is still not too close.
