That's good.

However, you'll find that there REALLy is no "maximum" for shops. Many, many shoppers have made $75-$100 for unrevealed "video" shops and others have made as much as $350 or more for having "services" (Carpet Cleaning, Blinds, etc.) performed in their homes.

Keeep going for those high paying shops...they can be few and far between in many areas! Grab them when you can.
Casino shops for Harrahs pay very well. $75 for the shop and up to $45 for incidentals (cafe evaluation, tips for beverage server, valet parking etc.) They are very precise and the report takes some thought and good English grammar. However, they are fun and a good excuse to go to the casino.
I've worked for a video company out of Ft. Worth that makes $100 ($35 shopper's pay and $65 reimbursement for certain activities and food at a family fun type of establish. As well as $50 and $70 for jewelry and upscale restaurant and bar video shops for the same company. I made $290 doing 4 shops for them several weekends ago. And they pay you within 4 weeks of the shops.
I made $100.00 evaluating a assisted living home. It was the easiest shop I ever did. The report was only one page. Mostly yes and no questions. One of the companies I do shops for, recommended me, so they sent me a invitation,
When services (e.g. carpet cleaning) are performed or you must stay at a hotel, are you reporting the total profit you earned or is that with the reimbursement included?
Hey....I just broke my own record. I made 4 video shops in one day = $200 in total (SWEET!!!)
The most that I made on a shop is $125. Based on the nature of the shop, I can't expcet to return to that location for quite some time, but it was a nice "paycheck"
I have made as much as $75 for a bank shop. I waited until the end of the monthe when they offer more. I only had to drive 21 miles and the report was easy.
My best so far was $75 for a shop at a Tax Prep place, PLUS reimbursement for the tax prep costs of about $185. I usually do my own taxes, so I do not consider the reimbursement part of what I made. Unfortunately these only come up once a year and you can only do one of them although there may be more than one tax prep place nearby.
My husband & I made $75 to evaluate the salesmanship of an employee at a motorhome dealership and we have done as any as 3 visits (at $45/each) a day to new home communities. Each of those visits took about an hour and the reports about another hour. What a sweet gig - getting paid to tour model homes and motor homes! Also, I got to take him out to dinner the other night at one of our favorite steak houses and got reimbursed $35.00. Those are our "high dollar" shops, so far....
I've done a car service shop where I got paid a $40 fee plus $55 reimbursement(which was the total out of pocket expense) for an oil change and tire rotation.
just starting out, the only bad thing is that the shops are so spaced out, and they take so long to send your money. And you better have money because everything is reimbursement. It's bad when you do not have it to begin with and waiting to get it back without any interest.
I have earned as much as #350.00 for a loan shop that took 3 weeks to complete but was fairly easy. I have also earned $100.00 for video new home shops and I have done 4 in one day. I am trying to make this my full time job But it is getting dificult to find new good companies. I have been fairly lucky I have only come across a few bad apples that riped me off.
I went to a high end restaurant in a upscale hotel and made $195 which paid for our dinner, drinks and valet parking plus I made $20. I just missed out on a audit shop that would pay $350.00 but would take three weeks to complete.
Regarding these maximum shops, can anyone get the names of the mystery shops that offer these assignments?
Can someone give me the website to do the motel shops. I've been searching for that one and have not been successful yet.
I was paid for $450 for a focus group in my home on clothing. I was able to invite 3 friends that made $150 each and they gave us $50 for refreshments. Pretty cool.I also was paid $150 for a mock jury. Focus groups pay a lot more than mystery shops and usually pay on the spot. Check www.craigslist.com every day and www.findfocusgroups.com Google searches bring up a lot of stuff. Write me at Jonasmom2000@yahoo.com with questions. Put help with mystery shops in the subject line so I don't delete.
I stayed a a Crown Plaza hotel and was 150.00 for the shop and reimbursement for the room at 277.00. It was in two parts. First part I checked in as a business women for a one night stay. On this one I evalueated the room and check-in. In the mornign I checked out and put my baggage in the car, picked up my notes and clipboard and went into the hotel. I walked up to the desk to the same woman who just checked me out and said"Good morning. I am here to evalueate your caterin and banquet service. From then on I was treated so well. It was great fun.Even got a free breakfast
There are two that are tied for the most I've made so far. I got paid a $35 shopper fee for a fast food evaluation PLUS meal reimbursement. The other one was an oil change (this retailer typically charges $28.95 for the oil change, I was sent a gift certificate in the mail prior to doing the shop) PLUS a $7.00 shopper fee.
I made $83.50 for making 9 phone calls to a credit union and they were local calls. That is a great profit! I now do mystery shopping full time and love it!

I did a loan shop in 2006, paid $150. plus I received $100 bonus for completing all required aspects on time. It was time consuming, but $250 right after Christmas certainly made it worthwhile! There was lots of phone time with the location, then reporting your contact to the company, but I did the contact calls on my drive home.
