Not very to both questions. You just need to make sure you get the required photos, clear and framed well. You also have to spend a particular amount of time at each location, depending on the brand, so you're shop timing needs has to be tracked carefully.
I have done them, they are not bad at all. It's a reveal and you have a time limit sometimes but this allows you to take your time and get everything right.

They also get easier and easier as you do more and get a feel for the specific job.

O.o o.O

Happily shopping New England and beyond!!!!!
As you get organized they get easier. I found all the paperwork daunting at first until I realized most of it did not pertain to the station that I was at. They are used to being audited but sometimes you get a nervous manager or employee who is not that cooperative. IMO there is far too much paperwork for what they actually want but that comes clear after doing 1 or 2 stations. I will not do them anymore unless they have a bonus because uploading the piks (on my computer anyways) takes too much time for what they want to pay.
>>but sometimes you get a nervous manager or employee

I've only done three, but I have already had one employee ask, in a shaking voice, "Does this mean that we're in trouble?"
It seems that MF has a few different gas shops. The one I did in November/December was a regular mystery shopping and did not required taking any pictures. Both the shop and report were easy and fast.
Well, ethics is key in those audits. Just yesterday I declined a free car wash in exchange for not reporting missing name tags... No way!

All the gas shops were picture ones. I did a ton of them this month and am tired now. Time for a break. smiling smiley
Wow! It's amazing to me that missing a nametag question is that important to them. I hope you were able to report that they tried to bribe you.
Nametags are always important. Sometimes I think we do the whole report just to make sure they were wearing nametags.
