Let me start by saying I know there has to be a rational explanation, but I just can't figure it out. Perhaps someone out there can help.
I've been a shopper for over 3 years and have used the Sassie scheduling system hundreds of times. For some reason, the ONLY two issues I've had have been with the same scheduler.
The first was last year when I did not get the notice for a shop I was awarded. (Mind you, this had never happened before, nor has it happened since.) What I got was the shop cancellation notice. I wrote the scheduler and explained I never got a notice or reminder. I asked if I could still perform the shop as a good gesture even though I hadn't planned on being in that area because I would never knowingly flake on a shop. I also asked her to review my history to see that I had performed all assignments in the past without issue or cancellation. She claimed that a notice was sent and that her company policy was not to send out reminders.
Prior to that incident I performed over 20 shops for that company. I used to get at least 2 out of every 3 shops I applied for. As a result of that incident, I was lucky to get one. Of course I was pretty bummed because the company pays well and quickly.
Well recently, I applied for one of their shops and was awarded a location I did not apply for. Again, this has never happened before--me filling out an application on the Sassie system for the wrong location. Of course there is a first time for everything, but it is ironic that the only Sassie issues I've had are with the same scheduler.
Has anyone else had mysterious issues when applying on the Sassie system? I know this scheduler isn't out to get me, but this seems like more than a coincidence.
Sincerely,
