Papa John's strange report question

I was filling out a PJ report and answered "NO" to the question about whether or not promos were mentioned at the beginning of the call. I received an error which stated that, "At this location the answer to Q3 MUST be YES".

Never had this happen before as I have answered that question "NO" several times. Seems odd that a certain location would get a free pass on that particular question.

I'll see what my report says. I did my first one today, and when I phoned a recording answered, and gave the promos, before a human picked up the phone. So, my answer would have to be YES, too.
The recorded message on my shop talked about the mega chocolate chip cookie and that's it. It said something to the effect of "add one to your order today". I don't see how that's a promo. There was no special pricing mentioned. I would consider it an upsell attempt if anything at all.
That is considered a promo because it is promoting the chocolate chip cookie, even though no price is mentioned.
Mr Mist - I don't think promotional pieces have to include promotional pricing or special pricing. They are what they are. Your expectations may be set too high.
"Did the customer service representative offer you any type of promotional special..............or any other offer".

This is the wording used in the report. Telling me about another item you sell and asking me to add one to my order, IMO, is not a promotional special or offer. I agree they are promoting, more like advertising, the item but that's not the way I interpret the question.
Not to be blunt, you're interpreting the question wrong.

I agree that it is not a strange question and that the answer should be "yes" given the info the OP has provided.
OK, so the purpose of this question is to see if the location is "promoting" and not to see if they are offering a promotional "special". The question even gives examples which all include special promotional pricing/offers. When answering no to the question the 2 choices given as a response to the "no" answer are:

1. The CSR offered a special but not at the beginning of the call
2. The CSR did not offer any type of promotional special.
Yes. They want to know if they're either playing the prerecorded promo pieces before answering or if they answer and offer some type of item they're promoting.
