Just did my favorite shop and the solar lights work.....

One of my favorite shops - and I was just assigned it and completed it - involves going to Direct Tools Factory Outlet - for $10 in cash and a $20 reimbursement, and posing as a potential buyer of a high end tool or appliance. The $20 is enough to buy something I wouldn't normally buy - this time around it was a set of well made solar lights for my backyard garden. Just too expensive for me to buy in this dicey economy but also just under the reimbursement with tax.....I love it when mystery shopping gets me something I can use or want for free - just wish it worked this way more often!!!!! I unpacked and set up the lights yesterday and sure enough last night they were working!

That shop has never interested me because I didn't know they sold things like the solar lights. Time to rethink itsmiling smiley

Last time I did that shop I bought a $50 drill.

I was just asked to do the shop again and I told them no.

I also do the shop for another MSC (same locations) and they pay $30 plus $3 re, I prefer them much more.
I buy a solar light every time I do a home improvement shop. You can imagine what my yard looks like.

I like clothing shops. $25 reimbursement is good to buy something I can wear or give as a gift to a family member.
Groceries are my favorite. Usually the shops are pretty straightforward, and we always could use more groceries.
Thanks for the idea. Last time I was racking my brain for an idea. That is a good one!
