MSPA's Silver Certifications

I have joined and taken the Intro to Mystery Shopping. I assumed, and still do, that I was taking it in order to be Silver certified however, upon signing up for several new companies, my certification number is not being accepted. I went to the MSPA's website and went to where it shows my certifications, it only says "Intro to Mystery Shopping" and nowhere does it say the word "Silver". It also says that my code should be "case sensitive", but my code is all numbers.

Am I missing something? I've scoured the site to see if there was any other tests or requisite steps in order to gain the Silver certification yet I come up with nothing but what I've discussed above.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If you paid them $15 and took the common sense test you would get your Silver certification and I gather would have been notified of your number. If the number is not being identified, by all means get back with the MSPA. I never found that any certification was needed to find work and that good work brought better opportunities.
Hi. I took the test in February and started signing up. I received the error message on some of the sites, but they eventaully accepted it. Mine is six numbers. This forum helped me a lot, and www.jobslinger.com is a good site.

Good luck!

I tried emailing the MSPA when the problem occured and got an autoreply that they can't answer all emails. It resolved itself anyway, so I wouldn't waste time trying to contact them. I paid $20 or $25 for my silver.

Sometimes it takes awhile for everyone's database to be updated with new numbers.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
