Post Office Rotation

Does anyone know the rotation on these shops? I almost never did them, but now I am doing them when I find them. My problem is so many emails announcing assignments but my locations are missing because of rotation. I'd like a better idea so I don't have to open every email, please.

If you are in the same MSC I am in, I have been doing them every month. However, there are three different scenarios which change every month.
I did 2 at same post office 5 days apart so I don't think there is one. They were different scenarios like one dim weight and the other regular box. But I don't think that matters. Hope this helps.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
I have done various scenarios, some kind of close together in time. I have waited for all the hard-to-fill locations to stop showing up alone on the emails. Now I am getting a huge state list, but my city is still missing. That's why I thought I was out of rotation. There is another town I shopped last month or so that is showing but I only visited it once. I don't often go there and I don't want to go anytime soon because as soon as I walked in, the postmaster recognized me from years ago at my post office (I had forgotten where he transferred.), called me by name and asked why I was there. I told him I had business in town and had forgotten to mail my package. I can't use that excuse often.
As long as you have something to mail and can remain in cover, you can shop the same place everyday of the week. (as long as it is available) There is no rotation being registered Naked.smiling smiley

The postman who recognized you. I was giving an example of what you could have said.

Thanks, Buffalo. I am well known in my community. I used to have a home-based business. Hundreds and hundreds of people know where we live. A postmaster would certainly know whether I have an address in his community.
Lots of people know me too. I use my real address in my hometown or out of town. The very rare time it was mentioned I said I had dropped my mom off to visit her cousin ans I was doing some of my errands while they visited. Liz
I too am not aware of any rotation in my area. I have done shops in consecutive months at the same location.

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
The rotation is very minimal. You can actually do two different scenarios at the same post office on the same day. I think you have to wait 3 hours between them (no, this is not the same as the 35 minute rule).

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008

You can apply but the scheduler will not choose you if you are out of rotation.

If you do apply you may be out of rotation but if the scheduler is desperate the scheduler will put you in anyway. I do them once a month on occasion when they fill a hole in my route and the scheduler lets me have the shop. It is not up to you, it is up to the scheduler how often you may shop.
I only do these when I have something to actually mail, but I did two at the same location, same scenario, three weeks apart last month mailing baby stuff to my best friend.

Also, if you get caught that way again, a good one is "Oh, I had to meet with/drop stuff off for a client and this was on the way out/home," Sandra. I use a variation on it often when I'm off the beaten path on a shop.
I have done LOTS of these shops at 3 different locations close to work and home. I recently noticed those locations do not show up on the list. I wonder if I have been maxed out at those addresses? I have done some other locations recently and I'll see if those addresses now disappear from my available shops.
