Video Training at IMSC Las Vegas Conference

Those of us who do a lot of video shopping have one or two schedulers that we adore and who are our "go to" folks for technical and scenario advice. One of mine has always been Kathy Hart of Instant Replays.

I have just learned that Kathy has agreed to do the video training in conjunction with the IMSC fall conference in Las Vegas. Not only has she done tons of video work herself, but also she is the person who interacts with many video xlients, so she has a unique perspective that other trainers do not have. In addition, she has the distinction of actually holding a US patent on a method of securing a covert video camera to a shirt.

If you have an interest in learning this skill set to enhance your shopper income opportunities, this should not be missed.

I am not affiliated with IMSC in any capacity and have nothing to gain by encouraging others to attend the conference and the training. I am just "paying forward" the help that I got when I was learning my trade.

She's also incredibly nice and did a fantastic job on my shirts.

I would love to have this training by a professional. There is no way I can justify a trip to LA. sad smiley
I think I might go again. I thought the conference was hopelessly disorganized last year, but once I figured out what room they had moved the seminars to (they kept changing things) some of the seminars had some good information. I went primarily for the video one that was held the day after the conference (there was also an "intro to video" seminar on the last day of the conference).

If I go, I think I'll buy my equipment there and have Kathy modify my shirt for me.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
dspeaks,
Before you buy a shirt for Kathy to modify, be sure to consult her about what will work with the equipment. In addition not all body types can use all sorts of shirts. LisaStl can use a Polo shirt for the button cam. If I do so, I get nothing but video or the ceiling and my nostrils. Some alter the shirt my removing a certain button; mine fit best when a different button is changed out.

I bought a few loud print shirts on a thrift store shop. I'll bring them along to try and/or buy one of hers. The one video shop I did with borrowed equipment where I had to set it up on my own didn't work as well as I hoped so now that I have that experience, I'm hoping to get better advice in person. When I took the first seminar I didn't have equipment, shirts, or any video experience yet.

I only took one workshop with Undercover Essentials. While I had my camera for a few weeks before, I didn't have shirts or any experience. My first experience was a 12 shop new car route. Trial by fire.
