Gas Audit Question - Help please

Explain further.... is this an audit where you don't have to take pictures of all the pumps? Was this on a separate pump by itself or on the same pump with other nozzles? I'm trying to ferret out if you do or don't have a picture of the pump where this sticker appeared. But I don't see why they are calling E85 something labeled as E10.

If you're pretty sure it's asking for something that doesn't exist, write on a piece of paper, "There is no E-85 pump" and take a picture of that to put in that place, then email the scheduler what's going on. That will enable you to get the report in on time since you likely won't hear from anyone until tomorrow.

Time to build a bigger bridge.

Note the situation in the comments section of the report. If you can submit it without the photo, including trying to submit it a second time when it asks again for it, go ahead. If not, then dspeakes' option above will also get it in. Just be sure it's in the comments. Cover your back by contacting the scheduler as well.
I don't think "oxygenated" is synonymous with E-10. Oxygenated does usually contain up to 10% ethanol, but I think "E-10" is an actual product like E-85. I have only seen E-10 once and I think it was on a separate pump with the E-85. I like dspeakes' suggestion and contact them tomorrow.

I always take a photo of each and every pump, whether I need it or not, just in case I missed something on my audit. There have been a couple of times I have been doing my report and noted one of my photos shows that a sticker is damaged or missing and I didn't notice while on site.

Could I have a receipt please?
Was your shop in Oklahoma? I got tripped up a little the first time I did one there because they are required to label the E-10 but Kansas and Missouri are not required to. If it is on the same dispenser, you probably have photo(s) that will work. Since it is asking for photo of E-85, I would double check that you didn't select that box on one of the questions. I kinda hate these shops because the report takes as long as the shop sometimes.
If these are 66s or conocos then they will have a dispenser that looks allot different than all the others. E-10 is like E-85 and is not the same thing that is sold at a regular pump. That is why they want a full pump pic like the regular pump pic. These will also say "Not a _________ product" on the valance. I always select gas and diesel unless I see a specific sign designating something different. I also ask the clerk just to be sure.

In my state, all of the "regular" gas seems to be E10. I haven't seen gasoline sans ethanol in years.
Yes, E-85 is different. I had that on an audit from the other week where the previous person put that E-85 was available, it was not. It was just regular ethanol blend gas, but not E-85. This was a small, small gas station with 2 pumps and I had the photos to show there was no E-85 at all, anywhere at the station. Someone previously just didn't know the difference. The E-85 will have a different colored pump stand and should have a different nozzle color too. E-10 would be 90--around here that is "Super Unleaded " gas. Normally we have 87, which would be E-13 if they coded it that way, which they do not.
RIMS, you're confusing the octane rating with the percentage of ethanol in the fuel. E10 is 10% ethanol (and E85 is 85% ethanol), with an octane of around 93 to 94. An octane rating of 90 does not imply that the fuel is E10.
No, I am not--yes, I know what you are saying but that is how the pumps are labeled here. Nothing is labeled E-10 here, it shows the octane rating and then a percent of ethanol.

Bill, I found out from other shoppers that it's faster on that report to upload only a few photos at a time for association. Then, after you've associated those, upload some more that you are going to associate. After you have associated photos with all questions, then you upload all photos because they want ALL of them. Don't worry about the ones you've already uploaded and used; the program will delete the duplicates. I also learned from other shoppers to reduce the sizing when I'm uploading and that lets me see more questions and pictures at a time and speeds up association.

I may not be doing these exactly right but its working and they haven't kicked anything back to me.

You got it, Mary. smiling smiley Perfecto! tongue sticking out smiley

I do about 5 or 6 at a time. At the end, I then upload the extras and it's all done and money in the bank. smiling smiley smiling smiley
I just found out recently you can do more than flour those in one day made me really happy especially whenever they threw out the bonuses on them. I use Photoshop for my photos and I can set up a batch program that will take the size of which is typically three megabytes down to 600 kb without changing the shape of the photo and having to do each one manually sucks. Anything bigger than 600 kilobytes really takes a long time for it to load up. as far as the association's go I do my required for the grass first then as I'm doing my required I look for issues and if I see the issue then I photograph the issue also usually a couple shots. When I'm going through the report to help speed up things I know that they want 1 of this and twop is that one of these in one of these so that's all that I get. If I photograph something extra that I need to go back and change I will do that whenever I'm connecting all my photos. I really like em they are making me a grand this month thanks to bonuses.
Think how much easier this will make every shop you do from now on seem. smiling smiley

Hopefully after your report, someone will get all over that station and clean it up before the next hapless shopper gets there.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
Yikes Bill!!! That is a lot of non-compliant issues!! I almost always see missing security tape but usually that is about it.
I think you will do well in this industry, BillBryanInCarthage. You are willing to research and learn and ask questions. Good job!

I have Photoshop and Acdsee, and neither will do a batch job without lots of setup clicks, as they have too many options. This is a good simple solution.

Hi, all, as you can see, I'm new here! I JUST signed on to see if anyone has suggestions to the problem of them wanting ask the images renamed with the assignment id AND the question numbers. I'm thinking that's going to take forever! Any suggestions for how to streamline this prices would be greatly appreciated. This is my first gas audit and it took me 2-1/2 hours at the location! I'm antimony the report will take nearly that long with having to rename and associate ask these pictures! I'm not sure I'll able to get it done today!
