McDonald's Shop Receipt

During a shop today, I paid the cashier in the DT lane. She asked if I wanted my receipt, and I said I did. Would you say that:

a. I was given a receipt without asking?

or

b. I was given a receipt, but had to ask for it?

You were given your receipt without asking. You didn't ask, she asked you.

C. I ate the receipt because it was better than the burger.

Could I have a receipt please?
A.

There are two types of people in this world: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.
A

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.
B. You had to ask for it. She asked you and you have to say "Yes". I'd say you asked for it.
I think we pretty much agree on A. If the receipt was offered to you or given freely, then you were not forced to ask.

If you're ever concerned about an option not fitting your situation, just mention it in the "Additional Comments" part of the report. The questions aren't perfect and cover all aspects of what a shopper might run into, such as receiving incorrect change.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
Thanks for all of your replies. You confirmed my gut instinct, and I went with B. {Trick!} A it is, and the shop has been submitted.

JenW, you can always email the Help Desk to clarify or correct your answer.

Many stores / restaurants receive a percentage grade based on the answers that we provide. By checking B, you would have lowered that location's score.

It's simple enough to shoot off a quick email clarifying what happened. They can decide at their end whether to keep it as a B or change it to A.
