Has anyone done those insurance shops? We are not allowed to accept the gift card. Politely decline a MAJOR drug store $10 gift certificate after sitting through a 1 hr presentation with 20 other people - how could we POSSIBLY be more obvious as a shopper than right out telling them we are the shopper??? Their reasoning is someone took their spouse to a meeting previously just to get the gift card. . . . thoughts???

Hello! I just wanted to clarify that the presenters of the health seminars are aware that you are the shopper. There is no need to try to hide that fact. That's what makes the seminars so great for shoppers - they pick up several in a day at the same location with the same presenter. You can go to one location and sit through 3 of them and make $20 for each seminar. We have some shoppers do 10 - 20 a week with the same presenter. Thank you for bringing that up so we could clarify that point. Shelli-Service With Style
The presenters and agents do know you are the shoper as soon as you decline the gift card. The insurance company doesn't mind because the fact that the presenter knows that a shopper is observing and reporting on the seminar keeps them in compliance with strict Medicare rules, regs, and laws. They don't dare deviate from the CMS requirements.

I am doing 41 shops for the same insurance company this month alone. That video sure does get old! But each presentation can be a little bit different so you have to keep your ears tuned in when the speaker talks.

Love October and November for these shops! I just plop myself down at the same restaurant for two or three presentations a day. Have laptop, will compose reports during the breaks. Easy!
