Does a different IP address get you deactivated? Tech help.

My computer is old - 2007 Mac - and I am having problems uploading my piks. I have tried many browsers and nothing helps. I have a new job on Friday with a new company. I need to upload a few piks and was wondering if using my son's computer at his house would be a problem. I don't see why it would but I remember some shoppers getting deactivated from using a different IP address. Anyone out there experienced any problems by using someone else's computer to enter data?

I don't see why it would be. I often do about half of my reports at home and half at my office. I have also done reports on vacation. Never had an issue.
I have an old Mac too. I usually enter my reports at various libraries and I haven't had a problem.
I heard that too about M.F. but I also remember asking them if I could use my smartphone and enter a report. They told me I could and for sure, that would be a different IP address, especially if I'm on the road.
I use my phone, laptop at home, and several different PC's at work to fill out surveys and upload pics. I do a lot of shops for MF, many times filling out the report on a laptop then adding pics from my phone. Add in that very few people have a static IP address and it makes no sense for ones IP address to cause problems.

I have used many computers over the past few years, including even the public library computer in a real pinch, and I've never had a problem. None have ever questioned or mentioned ip address to me.
There is no problem with using all the IP's you want. Just don't log into a company like MarketForce with the SAME IP for two different people in a short time period as they will detect that as fraud.

My guess is that some bad shopper created multiple accounts who lived in an out of the way location and was playing bonuses against themself and driving the bonus up and getting the shop either way.

Or two roommates in the same apt were both shoppers and shared the same WIFI. Husband and wife shopper teams. All sorts of possibilities that are not fraudulent.

One buzzard to another while circling high overhead (paraphrased), "Patience hell! I want to shop somewhere."
It doesn't have to be fraudulent for Market Force to get suspicious and shut them both down. It's happened to forum members in the past where two shoppers shared an IP address.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
I have used other people's computers and the library computer quite often with out a problem
If two shoppers are sharing the same IP, they should call MarketForce and have a note put on the file to indicate this before they discover it and have the shoppers on the fraud report.

Husband/Wife or two roomates that both shop for them is just a ticking time bomb that will go off of they both log in from the same internet source.
Thanks all you wonderful shoppers for taking the time to answer my question. It was not making sense to me why I could not use another IP address after hearing of some folks getting deactivated from MF for sharing an IP address. Now I get it. My mind is now at ease that I can enter my reports from a different IP address : )..
