Maritz Incentive amounts

Why does Maritz insist on incentivizing jobs based on distance from my house? It's asinine. Either you're willing to pay someone- ANYONE- X amount or you're not.

Simple. That is what they think they can get away with. I simply watch the locations that sit on their board and are not picked up. I call and make an offer. 9 times out of 10, they refuse. I wait 1 week until they call back to tell me my offer was approved.
My wife thinks its funny. When they call back, I see its them on the caller ID. I answer with, "Thank you for calling Maritz Research, where Bonus Money is never a Problem! How can I direct your call!!!".

If they find a Sucker to do them cheaper- So What? These Shoppers learn from their mistakes...

I hope you are upping your bonus offer when they call back a week later. That means that are more desperate than they were a week ago. Your time is valuable. Never settle for less.

I don't want to start yet another Maritz thread (although maybe I should), but has anyone heard of or signed up for their new "special project"? I don't want to divulge too much information about it...

I do a lot with Maritz but am unaware of their special project.

This is the time of the month when I start playing the bonus game with them. I will travel outside of my normal shopping circle but only if it fits into my earnings/expense ratio. Sometime I get very profotafble mini-routes and sometimes not.

I do see that there is a name change to MaritzCX because of a purchase of Allegiance Software. They say it will bring together Maritz reasearch expertise with Allegiance softwear expertise. However, there is a strange disclaimer by Maritz that the contents of the statement is supplied by a third party and do not necessarily reflect the vision of Maritz?? Hopfully this will mean a better website.

What are your thoughts? Worth the fee? I'm interested in doing this new type of shop.

I don't do the shop until the first week of December. Based on a long conversation with the scheduler in charge and a training webinar, I think it is well worth it. You get to keep all of the purchases in addition to the fee.

I don't do a ton of work with Maritz. I usually wait for them to call me when they are offering bonus money. Just got my largest incentive ever with them this past weekend...$150. Had to travel a ways for it but worth it for just one shop. After reading this thread, I might have to start being proactive and calling them for bonuses.

I do a little bit of bonus work for Maritz but I mostly do base rate shops. The check I got today was my best Maritz check ever - $1,436.63. Thank you, Maritz, for steady work and lots of it.
