I am confused by these. What is the fee, and what is the reimbursement?

States $18 pay, but only $8 if there is no product available. Then it says you'd need to make a "small purchase". What is the small purchse? Amount? Reimbursement? Is it a flat fee?

Reimburse of product, plus 1.50 is how I read it. I hope to do more than one of these.

As having done all five of those that a single shopper can do, You are paid a flat $18 if they have the product. It cost $10 at almost all locations. There is a $2 manufacturers coupon. So if you do one shop, the return is $8 as you are required to taste and evaluate the product.

If you do five of them and get both flavors, this means you have three that are unopened and you can return them and end up with a full $18 for those shops as there is noting in the guidelines stating you cant return duplicate unopened product.

Is this a legit agency? Presto? I've never worked through them before but I see all of these in my area now too, and I'm super tempted! Thanks!

Presto is the fastest payer out there. 48 hours for the last 5 shops I just did for them this round and they dropped it right into my Paypal at 2:00 AM. Just in time to buy a $25 gift card for my first Cheesecake Factory shop. This will score me a free slice of cheesecake when I shop them again in January

I got paid for 4 of these shops in four days, $18 each.

Is there a way to see how long the project will run?

From what I've read on both the SASSIE and Presto websites, Presto Insta-Shops has been "created by the makers of SASSIE" and "Presto is currently in beta, (and is) only available to mystery shopping companies on a very limited basis, and shops are available to shoppers by invitation only."

I sent lbb, who has popped up on a couple of other threads, a few clarification questions. This was around noon, so I have not received a response just yet.

I bought $25 in e-gift card for Cheesecake today and the promotion was for two (2!!) slices of cheesecake. :-)

Presto was a bit off today. I cannot find any record of having done the shop. I'm keeping my receipt in case the shop doesn't show up.
Also, even thought I got a second shop, when I got to the location, it refreshed itself and said they met their quota. However, the map showed another store a mile down the road. It makes me look like I flaked on the second one, but it's because I can't access it.

I hope one of your question is where we can see a record of the shops! The only thing I see is Good Job! in bright neon green.

If a shop I had 21 hours left disappeared while I was on location - did I flake, or was it bad software?

Yeah, I've done 4 Presto shops in the past 2 days and don't see any place where "Past Shops" is located on the site. Once I completed them, they disappeared.

The past shops are there until your paid, then it is no longer shown.

I saw the past shops when I did this last round and then checked again just now and it's not shown.

Two more were available when I was in the area. There is no trace of them after I hit submit. I wish it would generate an email that the shop was completed.

Thanks for this input above. Now I know why only 5 of 6 shops I signed up for showed up on my list when I got home from doing the shops today. Glad I am driving past the location that was dropped to return the product next week.

I like the Presto shops. Easy to do and fast pay!

this seems like a sneaky why by the manufactuer of this product
to artifically boost sales to get the two pharmacy chains to pick
up a big order under the impression that people are buying it.
When a new product is brought in as a test, the chains require
a sell thru of a certain minimum, and if they hit that target, then
the chain will make a larger order for the product as there is demand
for it.

Is Presto a Mapping service or is it MS Company?

It is not a new product. Since there is no record, so I cannot say exactly, but it might have been 8-10 months ago, when we did the exact same presto shop. The pay was $10 the last round.

This is a project that we are managing at KSS, actually. We are using the Presto platform for this project because it is very simple and shoppers are paid extremely fast (never more than 7 days).

It is NOT a new product. We have worked with the end client for over a year doing various market tests. They have now introduced a new flavor of the product and they are marketing the product in the baby aisle rather than the medicine aisles, so this is a market research study (NOT a mystery shop) to determine if both flavors are available, what our evaluators think of the flavors, was the product indeed located in the baby aisle where it should be, and did the store employees know where the product was located.

Nothing sneaky about it! The product is already in all CVS and Walgreens stores across the country.. no quotas needed at this point!

You may use the manufacturer coupon if you'd like, however, you are NOT allowed to return the product. The point of these shops is for our shoppers to taste the product and report back their findings. They wanted to allow shoppers to only do 2 shops each, but I convinced them that most shoppers could be trusted to do up to 5 and report back fairly and accurately. I hope I wasn't wrong about that!

We just released a new batch today and another new batch will be released next weekend. Pay is $18 flat, regardless of what you spend (normally $9.99).

Lorri, your response confirms exactly what I said.

The product is a new flavor but more importantly in a new aisle.
The baby aisle is highly sought after by companies. Retailers
require high sell thru in that aisle to keep a product there as that aisle
has more visbility then virtually any other aisle. Retailers look at the cost
per a square inch and if they can sell green paint at a higher margin for
them they will delist a product without thinking twice and bring in that
green paint instead.

Rather that is the intention of this company or not does nothing
to change the politics of retail.

Lori, any idea why none are showing up in Cleveland, OH? I have 2 already, but I thought each shopper was allowed 5... is something wrong the Presto Map? Thanks!

Those are all snapped up! They go super fast when we release them. However, shoppers only have 24 hours to submit, or they lose the shops, so check back tomorrow night to see if any weren't submitted on time!

I did 5 presto shops last week and was paid today for all five of them. I wish they were all this easy:-)

I'm having problems with the site....i sign up for a shop, get there,open up the page and it says the quota has suddenly been filled and is no longer available...but i have a shop pending (which is the same shop they say is cancelled) and that I should try another location (which is where I am that they are saying is cancelled)....the job cancelled message is apparently a glitch...

and today i did 1 and it told me there were no more..even though I had just seen many 15 minutes earlier...they just wouldn't come up.....i tried moving the map all over...but now that I am home 6 hours later...they are showing up again...

If the shop does not carry the product why are they looking for a recipe to upload, I am stuck in filling out the form as there is no product I can purchase but they still are requiring a receipt.

If the product is unavailable, you still get paid above the fee, just a lesser amount. The purchase of an item for the receipt is part of that pay. It's still generous, I think.

Is this shop over? I checked last week and a ton of shops. I was away on vacation. I come back and can not find 1 anyplace. I tried on my phone and home computer
