How are MSCs and Schedulers paid?

Hoju, you know nothing about me. I worked in this industry and do have extensive knowledge regarding it. Your negative behavior indicates you are a troll, not I. I was trying to be helpful, not to bash people over the head and make them accept my experiences. I will post whenever I choose to do so and your and other hateful comments will not keep me from doing it. If you all don't like what I post, don't read it. Your attitudes and behaviors reflect badly on you, not on me. Whatever you try to say about me will never detract or take away the knowledge and experiences I possess, therefore your opinions do not matter to me.

Nope. smiling smiley

still learning, your confidence would prove you wrong. I will post about my experience whenever I choose to. If you don't like it, don't read it. smiling smiley

I stand by the information I have given which I experienced. Play your games and be negative and snarky. I choose not to be that way and to not treat people that way. It only reflects badly on the people doing it. smiling smiley
@hoju: Is that really what you think? I think she got the point and doesn't agree with you, specifically.

Apparently.

This thread seems to be going in circles and getting nowhere. How about we either let it die a natural death or get back on topic without all the bashing.

It's easy to say don't read the posts I don't like but I don't know that I don't like them until I've read the. I don't like wasting my time reading posters bashing each other.

HA! I love that line. Also I agree. If she doesn't get it by now she won't, so no need to continue.

I stopped responding because I agree that it is pointless to be involved in anything that continues to bash people. I guess we will see if this post will be deleted as well. It's kind of interesting since I was not using bad language nor was I purposely trying to cut anyone down. I merely stated my experience and stood up for myself.

Guess what, you are both wrong. I'm confident in what I have said and what you say does not matter. winking smiley

If that is the case I hope Hoju will accept my sincere apology.

I am honest, polite, and have extensive experience in this field and as a paralegal. I am not worried about people who have nothing else better to do than try to bash well-meaning people who were trying to share their experiences. Please get past it and move on with something else.

Holy Moly!! Shazam!! Good Gracious!! Enough!! Several interesting points made by a variety of people, all of whom have different views and come from a different conglomerate of experience. Remember that a business can compensate their staff as they choose, within government requirements. So what's true one place might not be true elsewhere. Perhaps the poster under attack might consider an adjustment to her statement, adding in "In my experience......".

Might we return to a discussion without such contention?

Anyway, I have a new thought. I wish the folks who run this board would change the background font for the comments that are under the signature line. I would like to realize that the cute little statements are separate from the actual discussion portion. For example, the post just above, perhaps the statement "I looked fear in the eye and fear blinked" could be in a different font. Hmmm?

I was kind of wondering about that too. I don't remember one at all.

There is a dotted line that separates the post from the signature line

Yes, I see the dotted line. But the format--IMHO--is bland. Consider how some other discussion boards are arranged, if you have looked at other ones. I realize it is personal opinion but....that's mine! Usually they have more, um, maybe the word is ...graphic balance? I'm not a graphic artist, I just think the format looks bland and would look more up to date and professional if it had some more definition and design.
Anyway, I like the discussion area itself, so will continue to visit, while hoping for a graphics makeover.
I've seen some that aren't boring, but they do become awfully cluttered. Shoppers regularly come here looking for critical information so to me having a cleaner look makes it easier. In the Control Center under Forum options users have the ability to hide all signature lines from other members.

Must be the CIA of Mystery Shopping for Marlene. Sheesh.

3 years does not make anyone an expert. Just sayin'

Some schedulers get paid by the job. Each job has a price. Let's say $4 a job. You get 100 locations. 70 are assigned easily with back-ups. 20 might take a few days. The last 10 you are begging, pleading, bartering, rescheduling numerous times and bonusing. That's MY personal experience. There are inside, outside and independent schedulers. I have also heard that in some cases, there is a bonus pool of money to work with.

I really feel for schedulers that have accounts with jobs that are reimbursement only. I had an account like that. Not fun.
So on with a response to the post where I rather hijacked the discussion...about graphics...Thank You to LisaSTL for pointing out that I could adjust settings in Control Center. I went to Control Center, took off the signature line format, and now am much happier. smiling smiley In addition, I will try to stay on topic in the future.
