Route mapping software for android?

I used to rely on google maps to do my routing. True you could map only 18 destinations, but on the rare occasion I had more than 18 stops, I could do two maps.

Now, with the new google maps, the max stops on the desktop is 10. And then only on the desktop. The mobile app allows only origination and destination.

I have an awkward workaround for getting access to a pre-generated map on my phone. But I don't think I want to count on google or mapquest anymore. I just can't afford the down time when they suddenly yank the rug out from under you.

I don't need the turn-by-turn directions, that is what my (old) GPS is for. What I need is to be able to see 20 or so locations on a map so I can figure out myself which route to take. Then I load the addresses in my GPS to get my turn-by-turn directions.

Can anyone recommend good map software for android phones? If it helps to know, it's a galaxy s4.

I am trying different programs and apps by process of elimination. I have the Galaxy S5 and just haven't found the right one yet. I do use the WAZE app (free) for my GPS and can't live without it! I like this program, [www.drivingrouteplanner.com]
It let's you input up to 25 addresses and then gives you a list of every possible route combination. You can choose which one works best, then print or email the map, directions, or both. I print just the map and keep it with me, then input the addresses into WAZE. Now, if you get shops that only list the State Route or highway with no physical address like I get in my area, it searches and gives you the physical address with the coordinates. I like this because Google Maps has sent me to the wrong location on several occasions. This happens quite a bit with the gas stations when you might have three to four of them on the same highway in the same town. Guess it all depends on where you live.

If you come across something that can do both, please do share with the rest of us Android users!!
For creating routes on the desktop, I use Garmin basecamp. it has unlimited waypoints and can optimize the routes. the routes can then be uploaded directly to the gps. I'd be lost without it.

I find it will send me to the "town" while ignoring the actual address which is nowhere near town. Generally I then have to ask directions and drive past a lot of cows to find it.

What I like is when you're going to a location that is just off of the interstate but the mapping software has you exit two exits before the proper exit and then runs you through town all because it was a half mile further going directly to the exit. Have had that happen 3 times in the last 3 years. Or you're in a different city and you have like 10 stops to do the next day and google maps updates itself and all of your information that you meticulously entered the previous night is lost. I quit using Verizon Navigator, when I took a different route that I knew would get me where I was going, and it told me I was off route and stopped working.
