Pay for shops cut in 2015

Did anyone notice that several companies have cut their pay for shops? I now see bank shops that used to pay $25 going for $15 and cell phone shops paying $10 when they used to pay $15. Disgusting behavior by these companies. Shows how much they appreciate our work. NOT! I even got Gold certified. Haven't seen any changes in pay - only to the downside.

I think I have seen one client's fee lowered after a merger with a larger company. They have had so many problems getting those shops filled or performed properly that they have already jacked the price back up and more than the original MSC.

I have four clients/MSCs off the top of my head that have increased their fees in 2015.
I just looked up my stats from January and February 2014 and compared then to the same months in 2015. I surpassed my 2014 for both months.
Ha ha, we generally don't recommend companies because that just steers newbies to take our good shops from us.

Time to build a bigger bridge.
well bragging about how you increased your pay and not putting any useful info is absolutely not helpful to people who are seeing lower fees. Isn't this forum supposed to be to help each other?
Sign up with a ton of companies and when you get tired of filling out applications, sign up for more companies. I put a lot of time into building my small business and relationships.
I don't even see many of the the cheap jobs on MF site anymore. They don't show them to me. Then I get a phome call with a bonus at the level I told them I will accept and I will take it. When I told them I would only do X shop for X money, they decided to stop showing them to me and only call me now when the shop is worth X money to them after the original shopper flaked on them.

This is fine by me. Less to scroll through and when I do get a call, I will likely take it.
I was NOT bragging. I was disputing your post based on my personal experiences, my Excel spreadsheets and my bank accounts.
I am sure that scanman worked hard to build those relationships with the MF schedulers. Sunshine, if you can't do the time (aka work) then don't do mystery shopping.
Sybil, I am signed up with close to 100 companies. I do put in the time. The fees are lower this year. Please don't post any useless info. Back up your story with names.
Nice try, Sunshine. Like I am going to hand over my best MSCs and shops and pay scales to an unknown name in a public forum. I work for a lot of companies that are not on the official list below, do not have job boards and/or are invitation only to certified shoppers.
Sunshine, the forum is filled with tons of information. There is no reason for everyone to repeat it all on this thread just to save you the time of going through existing threads. How close is close to 100 companies? How long have you been shopping? Where do you live? These are all factors that can help determine what you are or are not seeing right now. Personally, I've seen fees go up and fees go down. I take assignments at the fee that works for me.

Sunshine, you have no right to tell me to stop commenting in a public forum. Who the he11 do you think you are? You are ungrateful for sure.

ETA: LisaSTL, give Sunshine a glass of wine so maybe she will stop whining.

I see you love buttered popcorn too?
Not angry at all. I just don't like moochers who try to tell me what to do. And I stand up for myself instead of cowering in a corner. Sorry if you can't handle strong women.

Reminds me of the show "Wonder Woman!" smiling smiley You go girl!
you took over my thread with posting useless info. I asked you to stop. You can post what you want on others, just please leave my thread alone. You're not being strong, you're being unhelpful and wasting everyone's time. We don't need to have these silly arguments. Life is too short.
YOUR thread? Way too funny. Thanks for the laugh. None of us own a thread. And if you read the posts, some of the other forum members seem to be more in agreement with my posts than yours. You just don't get it. You expect successful, hard-working shoppers to just hand over their best contacts and leads. Get off your lazy arse, read the forum and maybe you will learn something.
Ok Sybil, I'm going out to enjoy life. You can sit home and stalk other threads. later.
I did a shop for $25 two weeks ago. On Wednesday, I am doing similar shop for the same MSC but for a different branch in Toronto at $70 in fees. It does not have any bonus. I have ignored this shop because it was at $15 several weeks ago, but of course at different location.

Overall, I did find some shop fees go lower in Toronto. Very few went up but according to the emails sent to me, the fees did go down. I am staying away from them. It's possible that they had a lot of takers at the previous price, so they lowered them. As a matter of fact, I observed that they had even removed the reimbursement. It really depends on what shops shoppers are interested in or are offered.

I have been receiving emails on shops outside of Toronto but around Ontario and they are really at much higher rate. So, supply and demand really plays on it. I don't know about the US rates.
You sound like a whiner who wants everything given to them. I myself have 15 years of shopping and I do not give free advice that might put my interests in conflict with others. I take care of my business first. I encourage others to do the same.

you took over my thread with posting useless info

The thread is on a public forum, Sunshine, and open to comments by anyone. Sybil was not disrespecting you by inviting you to do your own homework and not expect a handout of information from shoppers who have worked hard to build their business. I'm sure your intent wasn't to have info handed to you, but you need to understand your type of request is asked on this forum many times weekly and many posters are tired of it. Use the search function and you'll find plenty of information generously shared by forum members.
