Oil Change Shop

A shop is asking for somebody with the same make, model and year of car as I have. I would love to do the shop, except the shop is supposed to be for cars with less than 100K mile. I have 133 K. Do you think I should contact the company, and see if they would make an exception? Have you ever received an exception?

You have nothing to lose by contacting them and asking for an exception. The worst case is that they say no. I have obtained a few exceptions in the past. I have also had situations in which I was not granted exceptions -- asking did not affect my relationship with the MSCs.
I know this company does make exceptions for higher mileage so go ahead and contact them.
I got an exception for age of car before. I had a 1994 and the limit was 1995. The difference between 100 and 133 is not that much. I'd contact them if they send out another email or the job goes unclaimed for a few days.
I keep seeing oil changes for one company but they say your car has to be a 2000 or younger. I emailed them after seeing so many shops and asked because my car is a 1998 but they said no. Rats, I burn oil so fast I need an oil change every month just so I don't have to keep filling it up. Right now I only have one oil change shop I can do every three months. I don't dare do the brake shops, they would say my brakes are so bad they can't put them back together after checking them. LOL
there is another company that does a generic auto repair place...their mileage limit is 225000 i believe
