Favorite shops to Least favorite shop

What are your favorite shops or least favorite shops. I am pretty new to mystery shopping and my shopping counts is about 25 so far, so still new to the game.

My favorite shop:
Dinner shops (I've done a few, didn't like the first one but liked the rest)

My least favorite shop:
Car dealership: I've done only one so not enough experience. But I get tired interacting with the sales associate for an hour and a half which really tests my patience.

My ideal shop would be 15-20 minute time limit of continuous interaction with an associate OR infrequent interaction for a minute or so as happens in a dine in shop.

So does anyone have any favorite or least favorite shops that they do or wouldn't do?

I only hate the car dealer ships in the NYC area. @#$%& shiesty bastards and they can't take no for an answer. Good god. Only state ive done them in (out of like 13) that I had to put up with that. I got phone calls from them for years.

I will not do the ikea report from hell.

My favorite was Soho House Chicago, Mondrian South Beach, and Kalahari Resorts. Those were baller assignments. I also do a lot of amusement parks like six flags and sporting events for baseball, hockey, and basketball.

I like the ones with bonuses. I don't like the ones with too much rigamarole. I like the ones that have locations near me but those don't have bonuses.
The $75 car negotiation shops are the easiest money I've ever made. I have a slimy side, so I've learned to beat the salesmen at their own game.

The IKEA one is too long and pays about a third of what it should, but it's not all that bad. I like browsing around IKEA on a weekend once in a while.

I made the mistake of doing the fast food sign audit once. Never. Again.
I just got the go-ahead to order a $100 bottle of wine and also got warned that I should be ordering $200 worth of food to go with it, at least. As for the other four restaurants on property, "Get whatever you want. Just don't order shots." OK. Understood. Geez. As if...
Other favorites: high end cosmetics, international travel, cruises, casinos, sporting events, airports, room service, clubbing.
(don't even think of asking for the MSP's)

I do not like:
banks, apartments, car dealerships, cell phone shops, menu board photos, mannequin hands, toilet rim photos
So who's the MSP?!?!?! winking smiley

Seriously, some of that sounds fun, some doesn't. I rarely drink and I rarely enjoy the type of atmosphere that comes with those types of prices. And I certainly am not a fan of the narrative. The travel, casinos, etc all sound fun though.

My girlfriend and I did a sweet job for an exclusive members social club where the bars and restaurants all had minimum to buy limits but no maximum. An 18,000 square foot gym with full sized boxing ring and gloves. We were allowed to spend as much as we wanted at the bar and could stay for three or four hours if we wanted. Literally NO maximum and those were the exact words used.

The room was their smallest at 300 square foot with 8 to 10'foot glass windows and a spectacular view of part of Chicagos north side.

These are the types of jobs I love doing. :p.

SoCal, is your shop for a British company? Those instructions are earily similar to mine.

I like apartment shops. I like to repeat shops I have done before. I dislike nursing home shops. I don't like listening to bank info over and over again. I like the car wash shop. I love the receiving flowers shop b/c it is the only time I will get flowers.

Maritz used to have a floral delivery shop when I lived in San Diego. That was over ten years ago. I loved that shop.
Pony: Haha I want some flowers too!!

SoCal: You are pro, looks like you only shop top notch!! When I grow up and I want to be you, like soon!!!

Sandra: The first shop that I ever shopped was a bonus one, so I think about bonus for all shops but most of them don't have it sad smiley

Af: Haven't seen that $75 negotiation shop yet. I'm still in the minor league lol
Like: Post offices, Pandora, hospital valet parking, easy-scenario home improvment stores, certain fast food drivethrus, Ross Dress for Less, especially when bonused, 1000 cups of coffee

Surprises (happy): Hospital security - sounded like a real dud but wound up being kinda fun
Surprises (not so happy): Free pizza. We just got tired of the same thing after a while, even though it was a quality local chain (not one of the big national ones.)

Hate Hate Hate: Convenience marts, especially at night
Mannequin Hands was actually one of my favorites ... ( I love mannequins and got to keep the old hands).

banks .........., mannequin hands, toilet rim photos<<<

Be careful what you wish for. They pay $75 for a reason but more power to the folks who like them!
Yeah, the car negotiation shops are risky because sometimes you will come up against a salesman who doesn't buy your story and things can get uncomfortable.

I've had decent luck so far, but I do get a salesman every now and then who looks at me funny, asks me who I'm "working for," and tries to run off to his manager's office for an hour hoping I'll leave. I'm not looking forward to one of them figuring out why I'm really there and what I'm trying to accomplish.
I don't have a favorite yet but I love the pretzel shops. Quick and easy. I enjoy most of the fast food shops. Quick reports and little narrative. Yesterday I had a targeted make-up artist. It took me two hours to be able to get the interaction. I am going to say that was not a favorite and I will not do one again. Destroyed my day. I think my top five are pretzel, Five Guys, bar visits, high end meals, and high end purse shops.
Favorites: The $350 dinner with the extra $60 bar for 4 people where at least one guest had order lobster, the holiday ham shops, lego store, charm bangle bracelet shop.

Won't do again: Smart Car, gas stations, pizza with photos.

Won't try: Ikea

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just forget to load the film.
Current least favorite: The Christian bookstore that I didn't know was Christian until after I had accepted it. I have a decidedly un-Christian name and complexion, and a few of the employees looked a bit nonplussed to see me in the store.
No banks, certain coffee shops, car dealership when things are slow don't like reports too much narratives

L like Post Office and other shipping shops
favorite are Bonused fast food and Restaurants that pay and reimburse.

What does an un-Christian complexion look like?

The harder I work, the luckier I get.
Likes: The carpet cleaning shop, dining, bowling, amusement parks and oil changes. I hate purchase/return (although I just did $100 one for Beyond Hello- look for them, they're worth it.)

I also hate banks, any actions that make you look shady, like putting stuff on the bottom of the cart or asking ridiculous questions, and will not do car shops. The IKEA one I got saved from doing after I read about it here. (Whew!)

Like a terr'ist.
I like doing the fast food shops with good bonuses they call to offer me, oil changes are not bad. Pizza with a national chain bonus me fairly well lots of time, but just got SICK of their pizza!! Won't do the car buying shops because I hate talking to car salesmen when I really have to purchase a new car!!

I just signed up for the k12 shop, but haven't done it yet. Why is it horrible?

Long, eye rolling boring phone call and then an unnecessarily long and redundant report. Enjoy!

I did mannequin hands once. I will never repeat that mistake.

Mannequin hands was a shop. First it was just photos, then later a shop (if you can call it that) to replace sub-standard mannequin hands on mannequins in a national department store chain. And do it without revealing yourself, if at all possible.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
easiest this year, comic book store, new to me. . did a particular FF that took less than 10 min and easy. . i love grocery b/c I did it for 4 yrs w/a specific store.

worst: cars. the salespeople talk and talk, I can't remember it all (nor do I want to) .. all that dam timing ones

ps who's shopping (co's) Church's ? still [name deleted]? New one opening near me

Mod note: Please do not link the client with the MSC. It is against forum rules and probably an ICA violation. Thanks.
Least favourite: Any shop where the MSC thinks that I work for reimbursements, especially when the same shops used to both pay reimbursements and shop fees.

Favourite: Payday loan shops. Fast shop and good pay.
