video companies should get with the times and allow you to zip the file

This would be a HUGE timesaver on both ends of the process.
Can anyone see it from the MSC's perspective as to why this is not permitted?
Does any MSC permit this, in general or just for you?
While ColoKate63's solution of mailing the cards would help, it still involves getting somewhere to mail them on time for next day delivery, and is surely a lot more expensive than just accepting zip files.

believe it or not, elcarev68, many msc's are technology illiterate. If tv networks can
broadcast hd quality video in compressed formats, msc's can take shopping videos
in zip format and then uncompress it on their end without fear of the quality being
inferior.

I have just completed my first three video shops and am downloading them to DropBox as per the instructions. It says it will be five hours to complete, does this sound right? I am running 6mbps on my high speed, using Windows 7 and had a class 10 SD card in the unit. I read somewhere about changing the bandwith in the preferences but I do not see where I can do that. Suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I used Airbnb on a video route last summer. First night, I started the upload of two videos, my host and I went out to dinner, and the videos were done when we got back about 90 minutes later. I completed the third upload while we talked. The second host I uploaded 6 hours of video in about 2.5 hours. The third host had a few internet problems and it took about five hours to get 3 videos uploaded.

Several video shoppers have crashed on the futon in my living room. I have long term housemates in the "spare" bedrooms, lol.
