Coyle restaurant shops

I was hoping to sign up for some Coyle restaurants in Florida but at this time only two are posted in the beginning of the month? Do they usually post new opps later in the month?

I really love to do their restaurant clients.

Is there some reason Coyle only has two shops in Florida this month? Maybe the restaurants don't want shoppers for the off-season? I have never seen such a low amount of offerings.
I think there could be several reasons. Some of their assignments only get posted quarterly and June would seem to be the end of the quarter. They've also been moving lots of their shops over to the shopmetrics site so you might have luck there.

All that said, they have had noticeably fewer shops available in Hawaii this year which is a bummer. I've yet to do a Coyle shop in 2015.
I have also noticed fewer restaurant shops from them. They* did pick up a couple of new hotel clients.

- though i should also note that i see a lot fewer* high end restaurants w/ other MSCs as well.

In my area, a few of the fancy high end restaurants aren't there this month, and they have picked up a couple of low end chains.
I hope it's just a "June thing." I work hard when I work for Coyle and I love it too. I sure hope they are doing well.
It's summer and a lot of shoppers, schedulers and editors are traveling and looking for ways to minimize expenses too. The schedulers and some editors see the jobs long before we do. Some of the prime ones may not even reach the boards ...

Are you using their Shopmetrics site? Many of their postings have moved there.

Not in this case. Coyle employees are not allowed to perform shops for the company. Sad for them sad smiley
Hi All,

I WISH we could do the shops! There are so many I would absolutely love to try; so, (as I think I said before), I tell my husband, "we are going to try this one", and I don't have to cook and he gets out of dish duty. LOL!

Just to let you know.. we do have a HUGE number of shops! We have been in the process of migrating shops from Qore over to Shopmetrics. If you couldn't find it in Qore, most likely it has been, or is in the process of, being moved over to SM. Definitely keep looking throughout the month. Kudos to those on our management team who have been handling the migration, because they have been doing a terrific job on it.

Pointers for SM (these are based on the # of emails that I am getting)

1. Can't find anything when you search? Try this:
----> Click on "Open Opportunities".
----> In your dashboard center, you'll see: "The postal code and distance below are set according to your profile. Click here to reset and show all opportunities."
----> Delete your zip code and mileage from their respective boxes, leaving blank.
----> Click on the *red* font link, "The postal code and distance below are set according to your profile. Click here to reset and show all opportunities."
----> All of the open shops will now show up for you. I think it is just 100 per page, but you may be able to adjust to show more.

2. Additionally, you can use the drop menu with the various survey names. It may be a little more difficult that way for newer evals, not sure.

3. If you submit a request - PLEASE put your dates available in the request. Something like this helps tremendously: 6/1, 6/2, 6/5, 6/6, 6/7, 6/15-6/25 or; Monday - Wednesdays in June; or Any day after 6/15 so that I can compare your request to the Client's scheduling parameters.

4. Why can't I log into Shopmetrics? 99.9% of the time it is because the evaluator did *not* register, and they are trying to use their Qore log in. Shopmetrics is a separate database, information is not transferred, so to pick up the shops in shopmetrics or to view the Client opportunities there, evaluators (including long time Qore evals) are being asked to please complete a "new registration" in SM. The shopmetics system will automatically send you out a new username/pw combo. (pw may be changed, UN is not). The other percentage is because the eval tried too many times to log in and ended up getting locked out. Just email support for help, they can unlock it for you.

5. When is my shop date? Typically we are sending out emails to everyone we schedule; in it, we are adding what your shop date is. Your START date is your **physical shop date**. Your DUE date is the day the Client is requesting that the report be submitted. If you see: START Date 2015-06-05 DUE Date 2015-06-07 23:59 --> it means that the Client has requested the evaluator visit on Friday, June 5; and they would like for you to submit your service report by 11:59 PM on Sunday, June 7.

Thank you evals for your patience as the shops are migrating over!

And - don't forget to continue to check Qore/Main site also - we do still have shops listed there I am looking at filling for our clients this month.

Have a great evening and upcoming weekend!

May I ask the reason for the move? I absolutely hate SM. I feel like the old site gives Coyle a different & unique edge over other MSCs who use these platforms.
I spent a lot of time and thought filling out a detailed application for coyle several months ago, and I have yet to hear anything back.
