ISecretShop Make sure to read

I just learned that one must carefully read the contracts on this site because things change from just dealing directly with the company. One company I know that I worked for for years now requires in addition to the electronic IC agreement, a hard copy IC agreement and W-9 before they will pay. And by the time I discovered my error, waiting for payment from a job done 3/30, too much time has gone by and more will now be required. One has to wait two more PayPal cycles after the forms are submitted to get payment. I think that will take me into 5 months or 150 days waiting for payment. Making all these terms and conditions complicated does buy time to pay. Please learn from my mistake even though you may think you have signed everything and worked for the company a long time. Things change when its on iSecretShop instead of the old website.

iSecretShop does not pay shoppers at all. There are many MSPs that use iSecretShop's job board. These are the companies you are contracting with and these are the companies that will pay you. iSecretShop is like Sassie, ShopMetrics and Prophet for example which do not directly pay shoppers either.

At any time if you are missing payments you should log on to iSecretShop from a computer www.isecretshop.com, then once logged in click on the PAYMENTS/COUPONS tab on the blue menu. Once in that tab you will see all of the payments pending and paid and also the contact information for the people that process the payments at the MSP that you did the shop for.

All of the MSPs have different payment schedules. I would try to call the company that the payment is pending for and see what can be done if anything to get your payment as fast as possible.

Horsefeathers's message is also important. As more companies move to isecretshop (or to other platforms), there may be new or additional requirements even for shoppers who were registered with the companies when they used a different platform.

So far, several companies with whom I have worked for several years have moved from their old platforms to the new isecretshop platform. With a couple of them, I have been required to complete additional paperwork and provide information, like a W9, that had been provided to them years earlier. In one case, although I had performed numerous assignments for the company in their old platform, my payment under the new platform (isecretshop) was held up while they requested, and I provided, this information to them again.

The great message Horsefeathers is providing to shoppers to BE AWARE: Any time a company moves to a new platform, you may be required to provide additional information. Not doing so may delay your payment even if you have previously worked for the company (and Julie is completely correct: payment is made by the MSC, not by whatever platform the company uses).
