McDonald's Screening Questions

I just thought I'd check out what the questions were for this time around. Apparently I answered 1 question wrong & now they have disappeared from my list. What can I do? Or do I just have to wait until August?

Unfortunately you have to wait. Same thing happened to me in the past for an upscale cosmetic store. I wasn't paying attention when I answered the questions.
I took the screener yesterday and passed it. I took it today and failed it. Some of the questions are tricky dicky and it requires complete attention. No, we're toast and we can't do anything about it. Wait until the shops show up again and pay attention.

When I was answering them last night, I realized what I had answered wrong last time around. There is a very poorly written question about association with McDonald's. I am sure it used to say "Yes," signifies you have no Association, but now "Yes" signifies, you have an Association!

Very frustrating, as I was just starting to get the bonus offers on these, and I had to wait until the next round started coming out, now I am getting the bonus calls again!

they did change the question around about being associated with McDs...it used to say something like By saying no, i indicate neither i nor close friends/family have not been employed by mcds..

now they flipped it around where saying no the the question means you are associate...

some of the screening questions are such nonsense..its easy to get distracted..like the one that you verify you understand the napkin policy...it is odd to have that as a screening question...

i actually starting taking screen shots of the screeners so i can review it if i get something wrong..

[MSC's initials deleted] has a STRICT policy about not allowing redos.....unlike other companies that let you retake as many times as you need....
I too automatically answered "yes" to the association question and was blocked. I logged in the next day and got to answer the questions again. Yeah!
So strange. I flubbed an answer and it blocked me. I looked hard at those questions and NONE were answered wrong. The next day ALL the same shops were back and I looked HARDER at the questions, making sure I answered them all and I got them right! I don't know if the day before was a typo on their part or a mistake but the next day they were ba-a-a-c-c-c-k! smiling smiley
HAHA...

MF has a reason behind the madness. By changing the question from a yes to a no is part of the screening process.

If your too lazy to actually read the whole question on the screening questions, they can determine if your willing to read the shop instructions every month as well.

If you fail the screening questions by skimming and clicking, they can only assume you will skim the new months shop instructions as well.
I see nothing wrong with this. I download the shop instructions for the new month and do a compare of the two side by side on my big monitor.

It's a test. They do have some slick technical programmers with the proprietary system they use. smiling smiley

They have automated checks on all the timings and your receipt timing must fall in line with your report. If it's off, you better declare it before you submit it the first time!

Good thing they don't do the recorded shops for the oil change because that is always an hour different than the time I enter.

Same thing happened to me but I didn't even have to answer again.
How many times do you have to answer a quiz and try ever combination of answers for one question until you guess the "correct" wrong answer?
Then you call the MSC and they are already aware of the problem and have not gotten around to fixing it yet?

I'm not naming names, but the MSC's that have a quiz for every client are more likely to fail when making the quiz.
I get it that they change the questions around so we pay attention. What I don't get is a fuzzy, vague, confusing, and grammatically incorrect question that would drive any grammar school teacher nuts right along with me.

Oh, how I love this forum. I was very upset at myself, as I do these regularly and the questions are not rocket science. Evidently, I need to read much more carefully. I was banned for July as well. Not sure how that will work, as they call me very, very frequently to take shops that no one else will do....
The strange thing is that about 7 McD's locations show up on my list, but the other 75+ aren't. Does anyone know why this is? I know which question I answered wrong. It has been rephrased from last month.
I answered correctly and was blocked, but the next day the test showed up again. I gave the same answers and passed. They must've realized there was a flitch and fixed it.

Well how about that. I just went back and found that I could take the quiz again as well and got right through the quiz. The one Q is very poorly worded.
There is another aspect to these. Their 'radio buttons' are twitchy and I have watched as a cursor inadvertently dragged over a radio button changed an answer. I have learned to answer and then take my cursor down and to the left so I can look back and make sure my answer did not accidentally get changed as I passed over it. I 'fail' the screener much less frequently now.

That may be your computer...i don't have that problem
Be careful. That question is for a NO response, as it used to be: "By answering yes, I certify that I have no affiliation with.." I had to read that 3 times and figured out it means NO, you have no family members working in the industry, etc., etc. smiling smiley
You are correct!!! The second to the last question is worded where the correct response is a NO I dont know of anyone. And it is worded hinky. :/ Redid it and got it back. Thank you for your help people. smiling smiley
