Under the first column (Assign ID/Status), it will say "QC" when the report is in Quality Check. It changes to "Approved" when the report has been approved by the MSC. I'm not sure what happens if the client declines the report; I have never been in that situation,

They tried to reject a report of mine years ago when I completed a grocery store shop and was supposed to evaluate the meat service counter (the store did not have one, they only had meat bins with prepackaged meats). After about 20 emails back and forth with helpdesk with uncooperative MF employees who refused to call the store to check my facts (I was very persistent, LOL), finally the right person got one of my messages and actually called the store to confirm that they did not have a meat service counter, and they paid me.
The one time I had a shop invalidated, it was completely my fault. So, I totally understood why it wasn't valid. I was upset with myself for misunderstanding the instructions
JASFLALMT, I had that same question, so I sent an email to MF asking how I could see my shop grade. I received my response quickly, and basically (my wording) it ends up being a pass or fail system...accepted or rejected. I see the good and bad in it, less pressure but it could make some of us a bit lazy. Hope that helps.
Just one question:

Why is this even a big deal? Shoppers, clients, and MF staff are mere humans; therefore, they will make mistakes somewhere in life.

I signed up with MF and I have a chronic medical issue also. When they assigned me a shop it stated something I had to do. And, at the time I had to be in a wheelchair for a short duration. I contacted them and told them that I was able to do the shop but I needed my husband to assist me and wheel me through in my wheelchair. I was told that they could not give me that shop becuase of it. I would be conspicuous in the store in my wheelchair! I was shocked by that. Everywhere you go you see people in wheelchairs, WalMart, Target and any grocery store. It is not uncommon. So, I asked if I needed to withdraw my name as a MS with their company. They replied and said I could do another MS job with another place. I would me much more shocking as a customer at the new place! Go figure. I just ended up quitting as a MS with them. I did not want to get a preapproval with each shop I wanted to do. I figured that would be a hassle. Either I am able to work with them or I am not. I know, it may have been the client. But still I wanted to share what happened with me too as a person with a chronic health issue. BTW, I have never had any other MSC think this was an issue with them, just MF. I know many people have a good relationship with this company. However, there are a few of us that have been burned because we are not "normal" in the eyes of MF sadly. I have happily moved on and never commented on it until now.

Kristi Cantrell re:Medical Condition.

If what you say is true your case is against the company you shopped and libel/slander for their misinterpretation.
I just spent $50 out of pocket and 12 hours straight of my Sunday doing a movie theater mystery shop. It was a patron head count for every showing. I bought the opening and closing times as stated several times at the correct time. The intervening showtimes, however, I was given conflicting information. The example sheet said to buy them at so and so time. However, the specific instructions said I could buy them over the internet as they weren't as vital as the opening and closing times.

My report has been rejected because I didn't buy the intervening tickets at the times listed in the example sheet. My question is, how can they do that to people? When there is conflicting information and people put a great deal many hours and their own money into doing a job and then be told 'sorry, you get nothing'. Not even reimbursed.

I know some people have all day to hang around the theatre but I am not one of them. I would have no problem putting standees together if the pay was on point. I log in to the purple portal 2-3 times a year, but only do work under the blue portal.
I completed one head count shop about 15 years ago when Certified was not a part of Market Force. I did not find the experience satisfying at all. It was very stressful and I could not get a hold of anyone at Certified when I needed some clarification. I will never do any type of theatre shop ever again. I really miss the theatre shops that another MSC was offering a few years back where you just had to evaluate the cashier, food counter employees, usher and the washroom. I loved those since I got to watch a movie after I had completed all my checks. I love Market Force and concentrate all my mystery shopping time to them.

As far as I know, MF does not deactivate themselves but they will deactivate a shopper. I guess for some shoppers, it is a big deal.

Not all MF employees are human; just ask Samantha!

You were probably denied the shop because the client required that the shop be done by yourself, not because you were in a wheelchair. Many people who are confined to a wheelchair can operate it by themselves.

What will happen if/when you are deactivated by MF? Now would be a good time to diversify.
I was begged to do a movie theater all day long shop like mentioned here. There is NO way I would pay that money out for a maybe at reimbursement. I have found it is to easy to say sorry by some of these companies. So, I would rather do cheaper less time consuming shops. My health and time are more important. I have FMS and CHF and I do not need that kind stress. I do the fun ones, in my opinion fun, lol. I love apartment, phone, storage and shipping shops. I always have boxes to send to my sister a few states away. Now I get paid for it, hehehe.

Rasky, it is 100% true! Btw, my chair is not one that is electric and pushing myself with my issues is a problem. Also, I am a bit like the "stay-puff marshmallow man" , lol.

It gets an inquiry and even if the shopper is right they agree with the "client." The supposedly looked at a video to verify time but for some strange reason the didn't see a van sitting in at drive thru window for 7 minutes waiting on food.
Market Force thinks you're insane and dangerous

Seeing the title of this thread made me think someone had the same experience as me recently. MF called me to do a late (9:30 pm) shop offering me $8. The starting fee for the shop was $9. Do they think I'm insane? Without mentioning the fee I told them I didn't feel safe going in that area of the city at that time of night. The scheduler said, "Really?" as if I was using that as an excuse. I said, "Yes, really". Do they think I like living dangerously? I then added that I get up too early in the morning to be doing a shop at that time of the night. I couldn't believe my ears when the scheduler asked me what time I get up! I sat there silent for about 10 seconds before hanging up on them.
I am insane and dangerous.
