Not going to be paid for a phone shop

Apparently this was a target phone shop. However, there is no target listed in the guidelines or on the survey that I printed. I am getting a little ticked off about this one. No big deal it was only an hour or two of my time. But sill want to know where I was to find the target information. lol

Sometimes the target is identified in the job description, sometimes it is part of the job listing on your assigned board, sometimes it is in the information at the start of your online report, sometimes it is in a little yellow "sticky note" that appears in any of these three areas, sometimes it is sent by email after the job has been assigned. Perhaps if you were to identify the MSC, another shopper might be able to tell you where you usually need to look with that company. Did you contact your scheduler to ask where you could have found the target's name?
They finally responded back with where to find this information. On the notes section where you print out the forms. It is on the prophet system, so under notes. But I do not remember seeing it there. But oh well, like I said it was only an hour or two of my time. However, I did tell them they should be putting this information on the guidelines or survey form that most people look at when doing their shops. smiling smiley
This is the first time that I have messed up a shop so bad that I will not be paid. Hopefully, it is the last. Still a little aggravated though. If it is so important it needs to be front and center of the shop. Maybe in the title even, something to where it stands out that this is a target shop.
I agree with you. If there is a target, it should be the very first to see, like a stickied note or highlighted in the Instructions. The MSC and the shopper have the same goal, to complete a shop according to the client's wishes. Why not make it easier for both to accomplish that task? Why lay a hurdle?
I had to do one where the Target name was only in the description on the confirmation screen (the one you get in your email and have to "confirm" that you will do the shop - Sassie) but I knew going in that it was targeted, just a matter of finding the name. But the recorded phone call required calling a toll-free number and entering a verification number and authentication code. Was that listed in the guidelines or the same place as the target's name? Nope, THAT was on the report. It just would have been nice if it had been the same place, preferably not someplace that could have been lost if I had mistakenly deleted the acceptance email.
After all the phone shops I have done, if i don't see a targeted person I generally ask because I get nervous about that part. However, I have found them mostly in the email I receive or on a yellow sticky note. Oh, this week, for the first time, I found the targets name in the comment section from the scheduler when you are on their web page shop log section. It is OK! This is a painful pill to swallow when you try your hardest to be perfect like I do.. but, it will all work out in the end.
