Payquicker

Any reason I should be leary of this company? I only have one MSC paying via this instead of Paypal.

I have refused to get involved with them. For some it worked well until they stopped working for a while and then there were going to be fees to get their money out. I didn't follow that conversation as to whether it was resolved. There are plenty of companies that pay with the standard PayPal, direct deposit or check and I just have no interest in attempting to deal with the other options, no matter how wonderful they may be at the start.
Do a search for PayQuicker, using "all dates," here on the forum and you'll see plenty. You can also search for ACE, Associate Consumer Evaluations. ACE switched from PayPal to PayQuicker a few years ago. After a long period of adjustment, during which ACE lost many long-time shoppers who did not want to sign up with PayQuicker, the number of shopper complaints and problems with PayQuicker escalated. ACE dropped PayQuicker and has gone with another pay method.

You are wise to research and consider before jumping into registering with PayQuicker.
I have no problems with PayQuicker. Just don't get suckered into their debit card as there are a ton of fees. They do charge $.50 per month for the account but I personally get enough through them each month that $.50 is comparatively miniscule. I immediately transfer the funds to my bank account and they are usually there the next day or day after.

I never had a problem with Payquicker when ACE used it and managed to avoid getting charged any fees. I didn't know that any other MSC was using it now. Why not tell us which MSC is using it now?

I used it with ACE and pulled the funds right away and never saw a charge on my statemts. Last time I used them was 11/xx/2014 and I have never seen a service charge. I just generated a statement and it was zero charge. I think you only get charged if you don't keep a zero balance.

I wont kill it as its costing me nothing.
I had multiple problems with this company mishandling my money. I just stopped shopping for ACE and closed the account after they tried to charge me fees that ACE couldn't get reversed.

ACE no longer uses Payquicker, so you can go back to shopping for them. They use Dwolla which is run by the Veridian Credit Union in Iowa and counts the Iowa state government as a client.

I keep waiting to see a little feedback on Dwolla but no one seems to be posting their experiences here.
Dwolla has worked perfectly for me. People tend to only post when they are having a problem.

Does a fee attach, or does the account go dormant (incurring fees to re-open), if it is not used in a defined period of time? That was my issue with PQ. I did not use it often enough to keep it fee free.
There are no fees associated with Dwolla unless you are receiving over $5000. I think that is for each transaction, but I am not sure. I am not worried about that limitation. There are not any dormancy issues.
