A pretty nifty bank shop

Don't ask me the name of the company because we are talking about the CLIENT here. If you have a Wells Fargo account there are some quick, super simple shops out there the schedulers are advertising like crazy because they have a quota of them to get done and the price is more than fair unless you need to travel far. They are one per shopper. Mine took under 15 minutes inside the bank and I think it took longer for the scanner to scan the business card than it took to do the report. Just sayin'

Nice! We have no Wells Fargo banks in our area.

Thanks for the reminder! I had gotten emails, but when I went to their site, I didn't see any. I figured I was too late. After reading your post, I looked through my emails and read more carefully. I realized this company has got these new projects on Sassie, as opposed to their Shopmetrics site. I guess you need to sign up for both, because I signed up for the Sassie one, and found a boatload of these. Pity I can only take one, but I will definitely get it now. cool smiley

I did one, but really don't see why it is limited to one per shopper. I see no reason why I can't do a different scenario ar another branch.

Is this intended to acquire customers for the bank?

Ugh. I have a WF account, but not signed up with this company and not sure who it is. Will keep flailing away through search function.

I believe that it is limited to one per shopper (regardless of scenario) because if the WF banker does their job correctly, they request your customer information, look at your account, and make a notation there that the next banker will be able to see. Keeping track of inquiries is a very good business practice, and banks and car dealers ( ! ) are often very good at doing that. Once in awhile a banker (Green and White or Red and White) will simply not ask me for my name or anything else, and after assuring the scheduler that that was really what happened, sometimes I am allowed to do a second one, particular when they get desperate and the bonus is high.

Does the MSC do "inquiry only" shops for Wells Fargo, for shoppers who don't already have an account? I have a branch about 1 mile from me! But am not signed up, as far as I know, with the shopping company.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I am signed up with the msc and the shops are all gone, but, for next time, my only Wells Fargo account is a money market, so would that somehow qualify for this shop??? Am guessing I could inquire about my balance or whatever....

BirdyC, You must have a WF account to do this current project.

I have a mortgage with them, but no bank accounts; wonder if that would qualify? I do other bank shops where you don't need an account, which is why I asked about that!

There are a lot of different scenarios. One requires that you be a college student. Another requires that you be a first time applicant for a credit card (have never had any credit card at all) which means you need to be young. Another is for home renovation. BUT - each of them requires that you have a checking or a savings account. A Money Market Account is a savings product and it might inquire. You will need to ask. They are having problems filling these in my area.

There are a lot left in my area also. I've been getting 2 to 3 emails daily. The banker looked into my checking account when I presented my scenario. He found a special promotion when he looked into my account, which I believe is the reason why a checking/savings account are necessary.
