Bank shops taking longer and longer to be reviewed & approved?

This might be true only for the company for which I do bank shops, but it seems that the time between my report submission and the change in status from "completed" to "received" gets longer and longer. I did some of these a few years ago, and I tihink the turnaround was much faster. For the two shops on which the client questioned my responses, I received the notifications quickly (within three or four days). I just started doing these again, and they seem to be taking longer. These reports are short, and these aren't nationwide banks with dozens of branches per region. I'm not sure why it would take upper management so long to turn them around. There have been no issues or requests for clarifications, so it would seem they should be going through more quickly.

Anyone else having this experience? TIA!
