Phone auto-corrected employee's name

Argh. My phone notes say the employee's name was Marduk. I'm pretty sure it was not. I guess that was bound to happen sooner or later. So check your phone notes for auto-correct.

Oh, that's awful!

I have a BlackBerry. It vibrates when it does an autocorrect so it gives me a chance to fix the error.

Marduk, of all things, LOL. I could understand autocorrecting to Mario, Maurice, Michael, but Marduk?
I think it was either Enoki or Nikita. I think it had an N and a K and it looked Japanese. Oh well.

I feel your pain! I have disabled auto-correct for just such reasons....

Me, too! My old Windows phone let me fix its mistakes easily, but my new Android insisted on having its own way. So, I disabled auto everything that had to do with inputting text.

Never, ever let your phone or spell-check spell for you!

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
It sucks for MS notes, but autocorrect can just be so funny. [www.damnyouautocorrect.com]
