Cold truth about mystery shopping - $3/hour average after expenses.

I disagree with many of your statements so would very much enjoy reading your source material and references. Please provide same so that I (and others) can draw our own conclusions.

OP,
You have a well established record at a really nasty troll. New forum members need to know not to pay attention to your rants.

Since when is video shopping not included in MS?

And, speaking of bragging, look in the mirror.

Finally, calling some shoppers nasty names will not change the fact that many shoppers on the forum make a good living at this. And, many others, who may have other needs, certainly make more than $3 per hour.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I find this post rude, demeaning and not at all helpful. I should have refrained from commenting here but I just don't understand the culture of putting down everyone else. The truth is you have no idea why people shop, how much money they have or how much money they make. Please stop and think before you post.

OP, you post in here so often, how do you have time to do anything else (like work) if you are so busy attacking other shoppers who post in here and of course your favorite MSC, Marketforce? Does your boss know you are using computer time at work to froth at the mouth in our forum? Go find something productive to do, please.
Yes, I miss the days of wit and fun...keep looking for entertainment where there is none.
I suspect JustaPoorShopper is just a Pathological Fibber. tongue sticking out smiley

He claims to earn $6,000 a month at his regular job and since the average mystery shop only pays a mere $10, I find it very hard to believe he would take pittance fees (such as $10) when you are earning $6,000 a month from your supposed regular job. (Please post a photocopy of your paycheck, that's not photo-shopped.) cool smiley As the saying goes: "Pictures or it didn't happen"..

I also find it very hard to believe that you made $3,000 in a month from Market Force. In that same breath, you are "putting down" Market Force. Tell the real truth. Market Force deactivated you and you have a chip on your shoulder for them and all the other MSC's that got rid of you, smiling smiley

It's just a common troll. Not even a funny or witty one. *sigh*

Actually, I thought it was pretty funny and solid trolling.

Starts out by taking a swipe at a specific poster. Brags about how much he/she makes. Takes a swipe at a specific MSC. Criticizes others for taking low-paying gigs and makes reference to their rich spouses supporting them. Gives us a FACT which most assuredly can't be disputed.

Not bad at all. I especially liked the 'retirees coffin-dodging' bit.

Setting aside the fact that the entire post was hate-fueled, ranting drivel, kudos for the correct usage of "bloviating."

That's going to be my vocabulary word of the day.
Criticizes shoppers, mystery shopping in general, certian MSCs, and posts nasty comments about people in our forum, yet states it took only 4 weeks to figure mystery shopping by reading posts in this forum! Should be thanking the "blowhards" instead of saying mean things!

The blowhards part was good, too.

The OP is too over the top for me to do anything but laugh.

No. I can't. I just can't.

You and me both, although from the comments still here I'm sure it was nothing we haven't read beforewinking smiley Funny thing is, $72,000 a year is not such a large salary as to be unbelievable and neither is earning $3,000 a month mystery shopping. Finding time for the full-time job AND $3,000 worth of work from MF blew that story all to hell.
