I need a zone 5 too just for this month. My numbers are 365 . I am usually in Kentucky and have a person to mail to but am in Alabama for this month and need different address.

People seem to be confused how zoning works. The postal zones are not set by areas. You are nt a zone 1 or a zone 2 or a zone 5 or a zone whatever. Zonage indicate how far that area is from the sender. So if you are looking up your own zip code you are always going to see yourself as zone 1 because zone 1 means it's nearest the sender and of course your own zip code is going to be nearest you.

just a reminder it to check the zone for where you're shipping from, not your home address, before you ship. My shipping buddy is zone 5 for my house and most zip codes in my area, but not all.

As we all seem to be having the same issue, I've created a google sheet where we can list food pantries that have CONFIRMED that they will take usable food items shipped to them. For now I've left the access open -- anyone with this link can add a pantry in. So we can track a problem address, there is a spot to put your forum ID. [docs.google.com]

Well most of the people are East Coast, Midwest and South. There are plenty of matches, but I don't know if they "get it".

I'm in California. I am signed up for a Hazmat assignment. Can I just send a package with a food item or do I need to first contact someone to receive my food item?.
You can send your package sealed directly to a Food Bank located in the zone specified. Sending to a good church's food-bank is another great idea. They give the example of a bag of rice sealed because that's a good item food banks go through.
