hidden cameras

Do any of you use pen cameras? I was sent one that is the newest to review and oh my it is insane. It has already come in useful for pizza shops. Crazy HD video and audio is pretty good but is better when you know what to wear.

Since I've already spent the money on cameras for video shopping, I just use them for almost everything.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.

Lisa, I do hope (or not winking smiley) that you mean almost all mystery shopping...

You can video in all states. As for audio recording, that is a state matter. BUT, even where 2 party consent is required for audio recording, it can be done legally by the employer getting prior, written, consent from the employees. That is routine. Please go to the New Mystery Shoppers area and read the topic on Audio and Video recording. you will find links there to state laws.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
That depends on who you are shopping. Some locations have it in their employment agreement that they may be video taped for training and quality purposes. Not a lot but I have done two video shops in Mass...
Video is legal but it is AUDIO that requires employee consent! Once again, please see the legal links in the thread about recorded shops in the New Mystery Shoppers area.

If you are not an experienced video shopper, own your own equipment AND registered with the few MSCs that specialize in video, you won't see 99% the job announcements. That does not mean that there are none!
