New FF shop for Marketforce

I just saw the new FF shops posted for Marketforce. I guess the other MSC who had them before did not get to renew their contract. Unfortunately, it looks like there are extra steps to take now (taking a few photos and uploading them) that were not requirements of the other MSC, and the pay is less, too. Bummer, because I really like that client.

Thanks for the heads up. There isn't one near me (nearest is about 25 miles, which is way too far to go for fast food) so I haven't done the shop for the other MSC. Hopefully this can fill the gap a bit for those who lost some business with the other FF client. The fee seems pretty low, but maybe there will be some bonuses to be had.

Shopper in California's Bay Area
Yeah, I am not biting at that price, even though there are several locations within five miles. I am guessing many shoppers for the one MSC also do shops for the other, so hopefully shoppers will be stubborn and the shops will sit there until they get bonused. There are people who will take them at lower pay, though. As we know, MF has lowered fees for shops many times and some shoppers still continue to take them...
Yum! Thanks. It won't pick up the slack for the major FF contract they lost, but it'll help!
If this is the one I think it is, I have one around the corner from me, and I do like to eat there somewhat regularly. But I'm not taking at that price, either, especially since you have to take photos! I would spend more time taking and uploading the pics than the fee covers! I'll just use my coupons!

My curiosity got the better of me. MarketForce is going to be wondering why I've logged in more in the last 72 hours than the previous 24 months.

The ones posted in my area are all dinner hours but a couple are drive-thru. Sounds interesting. Although I've never been a fan of this client, I might try it if they post some lunchtime hours.
In my area, they are lunches...herein lies another problem, though. I don't like everything that they have on the menu, and in the past, the other MSC posted what the sandwich requirement was for the shop. MF states that there will be a specific ordering requirement, but you can't find that out until after you accept the shop. They have a couple of things on the menu that I think are pretty gross...

I like several of their non-standard sandwiches, but if they make you order any of them with that cheesy crap on it, yuk and no thanks!

They have some horrendous chicken thing with grapes on it, and I don't like ham, so those two options are out of the question for me. I do like the Smokehouse Brisket and they have a turkey sandwich that I like.
The only two photos you need to take are of the store front and the food. The screening questions state that if you cannot eat the food due to allergies you are welcome to cancel it. I like their food better than the arches. The ones in my area are 5-8 PM
I like their food much better than the Arches! And I love the brisket sandwich, and the dips. But I think I'd still rather use my coupons!

Yeah, but their photo upload process is not as simple as most MSCs, so even doing 2 photos takes 5 minutes instead of 30 seconds. I don't have food allergies, I didn't write that. What I wrote was that they have food items I don't like. I am not willing to eat that chicken/grape sandwich or the ham sandwich because they are GROSS. I didn't do the Arches shops because I HATE their food.
I thought between the screening and final acceptance there was a page where you choose dates and it has more specific details about the shop. It seems I've gone that far just to read more and backed out because no date meant the shop had not been accepted.

On the page where you choose dates, it states "order your assigned entree, a hot side, and a fountain beverage" but it doesn't tell you what that assigned entree is. I do like that you don't have to get curly fries and can pick a different hot side. I wasn't a big fan of those fries.

Yes, I did that on this shop to see a little more. You can see the hours and the specific location, inside or drive-thru, and the photo requirements, but it does not specify the ordering requirements. The CPI merely says " assigned entree, a hot side, and a fountain drink" and says to see the shopper guidelines for specific ordering requirements.

So for this client you have to accept the shop before you see what specific entree you get to order. MF used to do this with their Mexican food client, and it was a bummer, because sometimes I ended up having to order something I really didn't want. But now the Mexican food client allows you to order any plate with chips.
I wish I could have some Mexican food shops. They don't have that client here apparently.

Okay I need to get my butt in gear and go do my shops...have a good day all!
Okay. I never do FF shops and didn't realize how much it did or didn't tell the shopper. Kinda crazy if you ask me.

Note: You CANNOT use coupons, per the CPI. The required sandwich is an italian sub. If it's not available you must order a Reuben.

If you're addressing me, I meant I'd rather use my coupons and get the discount than do the shop.... winking smiley

I'm glad to know you can't use coupons. Also glad to know the sandwich this month is the Italian Sub, although I would have my fingers crossed that it wouldn't be available so I could order a Reuben.

LOL...nope, not addressed towards anyone. I just thought I'd mention it, because I had actually thought of using a coupon. That place is always sending me coupons in the mail.
MF has had this FF restaurant shops near me for a long time now, but it sounds like they're new to some of you? I've done one or two a month for the last several months. There are 2 locations near me, the one that is literally across the street from my office is the new one, where you have to order the loaded Italian, but the other location's questions appear to be the old style where you can get whatever you want.

With the reputation of this MSC, I would not feel comfortable canceling because I didn't like the required purchase. Hopefully, they will get a clue after a lot of people cancel and start saying what the required purchase is before accepting the shop.

I kind of figured you couldn't use a coupon, and, like you, I get a bazillion coupons from them!

I grabbed a couple of them. smiling smiley I'm excited, as I love their Roast Beef and French Dip sandwiches. However, I realize that's not what we are to order. With the "other" company, you always had to order the newest sandwich, which my favorites were the chicken pecan salad and the brisket. If I like these shops from the big and famous company, I will grab more! smiling smiley
Also, the price for sandwich and shop fee is the same as the "other" company. It was $14 bucks, $9 for the sandwich/meal and $5 for the fee. So, I found at least that part did not change by much. smiling smiley
One just got posted in my area - only one? There are so many of these FF restaurants I was expecting to see a long list. I signed up for it since it is a new shop for me but the pay is low. Just happy that I can get a sub and not one of those sandwiches with the liquid cheese.
Wow that was fast. They're all gone in my area, and a few hours ago there were about 15 available.
