"Your Mystery Shopping Emails Have Been Disabled" (Sassie, Jobslinger, etc)

I got an email yesterday with the above title. It said,

"Your email provider has repeatedly rejected our emails OR has sent us a demand to stop sending you emails (common with AOL accounts).

To comply with SPAM regulations, we have put your email address on our "DO NOT EMAIL" list. As a result, you are no longer receiving shop email offers.

To be removed from this list and start receiving emails again, click this link."

Has anyone received this email? It looks legitimate, but I'm not sure and wanted to check first. I do not have an AOL email account.

Thanks

Just log into Jobslinger directly, I believe the link to fix this is available there after you log in. Or,if it was from a specific MSC then I believe they should have it set up to do the same thing. I prefer to log in directly to resolve that problem. I forget if it is the MSC or through Jobslinger?

I have received this message. It was from the MSC. I blocked them for a while as I could not face another 12 chicken wing shop offers at one time in my email, day after day.
I got the same email. As isaiah said, log in directly to Jobslonger. Mine was legit. Regardless I don't click links in emails like this one.

Make sure you add the sender (whatever shows up on the e-mails you get) to your contacts in your e-mail program and uncheck any that show up as spam.
I have AOL and was getting it periodically, but once I added the sender to my contact list, in AOL, and made sure, I fixed any that when to my spam folder, they stopped.
I wish MSCs would take more responsibility for this problem instead of always blaming our email providers. How many companies send dozens of emails every day along with some that have really spammy sounding subject lines? If for no other reason, it seems a good excuse to stop with subjects all in caps, using the word FREE and using multiple exclamation points among other things.

Apparently at least one MSC has heard us. I applaud them though they have not been one of the big offenders. Is anyone at Intellishop or GFK listening?

This is too hilarious. Within two minutes of my post above I started receiving emails from Intellishop, all with the same subject line. Six over the course of 20 minutes.

I have received this message the other day. Just click in the message the link to have it restored.

Thanks everyone. I logged into Jobslinger and fixed the problem there. Glad to know that it was legit.
