I recently went through all the companies I was registered with and checked which ones have a viable amount of phone shops to bother checking their boards frequently. Searching for jobs can be just as daunting as doing the jobs. I recently spoke to a Phone Shop Coordinator at The Brandt Group. She told me that they have phone shops available where you do only the calls and no paperwork. Well no paperwork most of the time. They might expect 6 to 20 calls in a two day period monthly. There are shifts which change such as morning, afternoon and evening. Also they pay hourly. You are an independent contractor and keep track of your time. They give you guidelines. Remember they do have an idea of timing dealing with so many shoppers. They do not guarantee anything in the way of work and it is project based.
If you were interested you sign up for The Brandt Group. I would then email them and request more information regarding this. The phone shop department is not on the website but you need to sign up with the website to be considered. I have no idea how much the pay is and I am not recommending any particular company. It is just that so many people have complained about paperwork involved in phone shops. This might be a better alternative for those people. You do have to do a phone interview.
After reading about some people being homebound here or limited in time they might like this. Hope this helps a couple of people. I do not benefit from this. I am passing the information along. Best of luck.
